Hoping this will solve dye bleed under arms of garments!
UK buyerI bought this because I have problems with dye bleeding from tops (usually tops from N*x*) under the arms, and usually blue tops, so this might not work, as reading up, Retayne doesn't work on some blue dyes - but I thought I would give it a try. The instructions on the bottle aren't brilliant: it mentions 'yards' of fabric (I think the product is used in quilting circles) and water temperature in 'F'. So it left me wondering how to use it correctly for my application. I used a teaspoon of Retayne in tap hot (really hot) water, in my washing up bowl, for 20 minutes. I haven't worn any of the clothing I treated yet...so watch this space. Fingers crossed!I paid £8.53+£2.40 carriage from States for 4oz bottle July 2015 - which I thought was very reasonable. I used the Amazon Marketplace seller 'Stuff4'. The goods arrived within the specified delivery dates, and the seller has followed up with an email asking if the goods were received etc, which is very good of them.

TOP LOADER ONLY!
If you want to use in washing machine Only works in a top loaded washing machine NOT front loader.As I had over 4 meters of fabric I placed it in the bath was a little tricky trying to keep water up to temperature for 20 minutes but with the help of a kettle got there in the end,Rinsed out in Cold cycle of washing machine fantastic colour has fixed,instructions does say always wash in cold cycle from now on,so can't comment on what will happen if put on a warmer wash.The material I was using was a poly cotton vibrant green orange and red same procedure for each of the colours, .over 12 meters in total and plenty of colour fix left.

I had some very colour running T shirts that nothing else would stopThis product worked 99% there was a small run but the white did not become pink and the red stayed redThank you my son can now wear his tie dye T shire .
