I thought it looked great but can't really give a proper review as it was a present. Was presented well.

Decent little kit. Great as a starter set or handy for outdoor painting I should think as it contains a lot of the stuff you need although I thought it would have been nice to include a very small bottle of linseed oil for us beginners. There's no brush cleaner either but I clean them with washing up liquid and it works fine.There's a lot more paint in those little tubes than I expected so, you can be quite generous on the pallet. Good range of fairly long-handled brushes but the fan brush was a little disappointing as it is a bit sparse and uneven. It'll have it's uses I'm sure. First thing I did was pull out and throw away the plastic presentation divider in the box! That done the box is actually very useful and has space in it for more bits and bobs and it holds your brushes while you paint. Second thing I did (after attempting my first painting) was pop out and get those bits and bobs; A decent pallet knife (I discarded the floppy, plastic one included in the set), a better fan brush, a soft, flat brush, a couple of line brushes, linseed oil, thinners and a few pipettes. With the exception of the oil and thinners It all goes in the box.Four stars only because, as a starter kit it is found wanting. I felt I needed those extra things and they cost me almost as much as the kit itself. If they just included a better fan brush & pallet knife, a line brush and some thinners I probably wouldn't have had to go to the shops for quite a while.
