Worked eventually
Had to almost crush the old oil filter in order for it to turn, probably not the pliers fault but had to use something else to eventually get it off. Pliers themselves feel sturdy and have 3 choices of sizes which was nice.

One good turn deserves another
You can never be sure when doing an oil change just how tight the oil filter is, got this just in case , pretty heavy piece of kit with some nice grippy teeth, did three oil changes in a day and the first two filters were how they should be , hand tight so weren't needed, Third however was tightened by someone who obviously trains his right hand and forearm everynight while having sexytime ( on his own) so wrench came out and did its job, gripped hard and mashed the filter a little but hey!! It turned, worth the price I paid just for this one job,

Grip, twist & off it comes
Nice heavy duty set of clamps, managed to finally get my oil filter off with little hassle after the gorilla 🦍 garage guy tightened it up like a champ 2 years ago.Why they do this? Who knows!These clamps got it off in the end so happy for buying them.

The tools color is not the same as in the picture
Great tool but the picture was black with a red stripe and I got a Yellow with a blue stripe which I hate tools with bright colors. A bit disappointed on that.
