Thanks for the memories!
Compiling the 20th greatest moments in New York Sports History is a brilliant idea. The operative word in the previous sentence is “history.” New York is rich in historical moments that changed the course of history in the Big Apple and our nation. “The 20 Greatest Moments in New York Sports History” correctly captures these moments but, more importantly, provides personal first-hand accounts from those who were there. The magic of this book is the interviews, particularly the story behind the story. I was unaware of many of these antidotes, but this excellent read has given me a new appreciation of these historic sports events. I highly recommend this book to New York sports fans and those who are not as well because we can all relate to what we were doing or where we were when these events occurred. Finally, I want to finish with the words of the late great Bob Hope, “Thanks for the memories.”

Excellent keepsake!
An excellent book for any New York sports fan, young and old. Would’ve liked the book to have more photos, but still fantastic. I do think one iconic moment was overlooked.. Willie Mays catch in the ‘54 World Series!

A First Person Guide to the Best of NY Sports
No book has ever provided the incredible amount of first person perspective of the great moments in NY sports. Ehrlich conduced and provided OVER ONE HUNDRED original interviews with players, broadcasters and columnists to take you inside these moments. The book brought back my favorite memories and added stories and insight I hadn’t known before. Buy the book and I dare you to try and put it down, I know I couldn’t!

VERACITY
Author Todd Ehrlich’s book 20 Greatest Moments in NY Sports History is a testament to his veracity, “…habitual observance of truth in speech.” I’ve read a TON of non-fiction and biographies, but this is the first in this genre in which the author conducted every interview himself. Nothing lifted, nothing borrowed. Ehrlich was a bulldog seeking out and scoring first-0hand accounts from every legend who took part in New York’s fabulous sporting history. Bravo Todd.

Editor needed!
Great idea and interesting stories but the typos make it almost unreadable.
