Bought these to go on the ridge line of a new summerhouse and stop pigeons marking the roof.Arrived quickly, boy are they sharp, lots of holes to allow various ways of fixing in place.Ideal for a short length of bird or cat protection.

Just what I needed to keep the squirrels out .They arrived promptly & were easy to put up .Yes just what I wanted .

Able to split down fidther if needed, I have used in tip of trampoline frame to deter birds. Works a treat.

Bought & fitted in Autumn last year on the top of my steel, electric 7ft gate. Self-tappers/drills wouldn't penetrate the gate top so I used strong, builders adhesive. Easily fitted, were rock solid and stopped the squirrels and birds. However, come Spring & some decent heat from the sunshine, the strips expanded and lifted up away from the gate top. Guess the adhesive also softened to a degree. When they cool they return to the original position albeit without all the adhesive of course. So, in summary, if screwing down then I wouldn't hesitate in recommending but if glueing I'd think again.

I am not a great one to rush and review things but this product deserves it. Prompt service, great price and quality product. I want some of this to cover a particularly sturdy and expensive metal garden arch. Beneath it we have a bench seat. The birds ( especially large ones ) sit on the arch and crap on the seat all day long. I have cut the product to single file spikes. Cutting was simple with a stanley knife and a cutting board. Attached to arch with black cable ties.. Barely noticeable and will be covered completely once clematis grows. I have far too much of it as well but for just over 7 squids then who cares. Just watched a flying pigeon rat do the dance of shame across the spikes before going to more comfortable perch. Early days but we shall see.

We had these installed to the top of our fence, a small section near the bird feeders (to prevent cats from getting to close to the birds). The spikes are easy to install and look fairly inobtrusive, although they are quite sharp if within reach of anyone's hands (ours are on the back fence against a tall hedge so inaccessible). So far the spikes have been a 100% deterrent for cats, whilst squirrels and birds seem to be unfazed by them.

On the whole a great product. The only thing with them is they tend to buck up when you screw them down. I simply put extra screws in to stop this happening.Once in place very sturdy and painful if you try to climb on the them.
