Bernzomatic FirePoint Creator Tool, Precision Flame Hand Torch for use with Bernzomatic MAP-Pro or Propane Fuel (Firepoint Tool)

Are you looking for a micro torchie thing too? like I was? I am a dichroic glass jewelry designer. I read everything and research thoroughly. I think it's great.The bottles of "juice" are large (I bought 2 extras). That's OK. It hits everything exactly like you direct it to (which is different than others that I've tried when mine finally wore out). Like another artist told me: it's how you are using it. NOT the instrument.I get great results. I'm satisfied!

I love this torch. It’s works in every direction. It’s simple to use. I use it for sweat copper fittings.

Has been great for silver smithing. Easy to use, virtually no set up. The hose length is adequate.

Holds my map pro canister and the flame is more fine/precise. I like that it has a gas on/off valve and a slot to put the nozzle into between use

I use this regularly for silver soldering small parts. Works great.

Seems like a great tool.Here are my pros and cons.PROS:- very nice flame tip- great ergonomics. It just fits in my hand. Very functional- easy to operate and fast to set up- hole for the tool in the base is made in a way that stops tool from rotating freely. I like this- heat output is based on the gas you feed it and by adjusting the knob- It can also operate with EU Propane butane bottles (you have to have gas US to EU adapter)CONS:- There is no handle that would allow me to grab "the whole set-up" with one hand and move it. I think it's kind of obvious from the pictures, but I did not realize until the first time I had to move it. It is small and light weighted, but you need two hands to move it.- After a long operation, I do not feel comfortable to just slide it into the hole in the base. Even if it's reinforced with metal, it would surely melt after some time.Overall I think this is great value for money.To fix most cons, I designed and 3D printed holder which make this tool 5/5, but since I had to put in my work best I can give is 4/5.Holder can be found on printables. Worth the money.

We do a lot of soldering in our business and we’re using these standard propane tank torch head. Soldering on smaller things was a pain.I ran across these with the hose, adjustable flame and thought I’d give them a go.So far my guys like them and being able to adjust the flame for more precise work has helped out a lot!As far as durability I cannot comment on that as we have only been using them for about a month. They do not get transported and will sit at each work station so I’m hopeful with such comfortable settings they will last a long time.
