Only just got this, takes a little while to put together but okay if you really read the instructions! Lovely big padded seat, machine itself has adjustable resistance and nice comfy handles. Screen okay to use, but does show calories and time etc which is good. Back leg folds under when 1 screw is removed to lie flat. Nice and streamlined and very easy to use. Very impressed with the speed of delivery and the quality of the item, looks like it could easily be £100++. Definitely would recommend. - top tip, applying 1 of the foam handles is really hard as it sticks, just add a bit of liquid soap to the handle to help it slide along, otherwise you’ll be there a while!!

Okay, so at £60 odd it's not going to be the most amazing piece of kit, and for what you get it is pretty reasonable.Good points:- Easy to put together- Tucks away nicely in the corner of my room- Smooth action- QuietBad points:- Rubber grip is impossible to slide over the handle bar. Ripped it twice. While the result is only cosmetic it is a bit disappointing to have part of the product ripped before I finished assembling it.- It is not very long. This means that I cannot complete a full extension and therefore effectively work my lower back and abs. If you are 5'10" or over I would recommend getting a different machine.- Don't get much of a workout even at the highest setting, and I'm not exactly fit!Overall:If you are looking for a discrete piece of kit that will put together easily so you can do some light cardio at home then this is the right product for you. If you are looking for a more serious workout or are above average height then look at a different model.

This was exactly what I wanted - I was tempted to go for the next model up but in fact this does exactly what you want it to do. Although the instructions looked a little scary it was very easy to put together by myself, all the little bags so clearly labelled Step 1, Step 2 etc. with the right tools in there it took me about 20 mins in total. A good tip for those who report getting the rubber handles on the bar - a tiny smear of olive oil on the bar and the slip right on really easily (don't put too much on as they might slip off when using). I was a little scared when I first used it but the resistance was set on the top setting (12) and I thought this would be too hard (it isn't). A fantastic bit of kit for the price, would highly recommend. It won't make you an Olympic rower but it will help tone and get you in shape. Very happy with this purchase. It scans and tells you calories burnt (always disappointing), number of strokes, time and the only thing I wish it showed was distance but that is a tiny issue that does not detract from how good it is overall. Easy to use, uncomplicated and will help you reach your goals.

After a few uses I started to notice that once the cylinder heats up (it gets quite hot, be careful) I was experiencing some resistance when it closed, as if there was a small pocket of air at the bottom of the cylinder, causing the mechanism to 'bounce back' a couple of inches rather than retract all the way. I assumed this was normal (it wasn't), but after a few more uses the mysterious pocket of air gave way and the cylinder started leaking hot oil or lubricant.I emailed sports at home and they were quick to apologise for the faulty cylinder and mailed out a replacement free of charge. It was simple to replace and has been working perfectly for the last 6 months with almost daily use. The only thing I've had to do is spray a little bit of WD40 under the seat once or twice to keep it gilding smoothly. If you're use to the big rowing machines they have at the gym this will probably seem a little flimsy, but don't be deceived, it's a sturdy bit of equipment that does the job. Plus it's easy to store out of sight.There's a little bit of assembly required, but everything is labelled and numbered making it very easy (screwdriver/wrench included!)I've lost almost 70lb using it, and if it wasn't for the faulty cylinder I'd definitely have given it 5 stars!

This was really easy to assemble and a great price.I'm 5'7" and 10 1/2 st. and a beginner .It's sturdy, not that loud and has a good range of pressures to push you and help give you more overall strength and fitness.I don't have any prior knowledge on the machines and other options but it's great for me. I recommend it.

Very easy to assemble. It is also nice and silent compared to some others I have tried. I find it suitable for both my partner who is very petite and only 50 KG and myself. You simply adjust the pressure and, or do more repetitions and at a faster pace. I have found you can also use your legs or simply keep them straight and you will find it is more telling on your arms and abs. You just need to play around and invent your own style to exercise what muscles you are targeting. All said and done, it is well worth the value of the item

Works fine but after a while oil leaks from piston. I had to replace piston 3 times in four months, after the third piston / cylinder started to leak oil I decided enough was enough and sent it to the scrap heap.

Easy to assemble. Works fine. I stopped using because it's loud. Also, there's no wire to pull, so you're not getting the arm workout. & it's the right size for my height (5"5), but I don't think taller people would be comfortable.I'd recommend spending more, and getting one with the proper wire bit that you pull. Maybe others wouldn't be quite so loud & clunky too.
