Small text but satisfactory

This dictionary had information that larger dictionaries didn’t have. I was quite impressed. Plus, even though the print is small (my 54 year old eyes must use readers to use this dictionary) students prefer the smaller, more convenient size to take to class or on trips.

Very small to read

This little dictionary is the best dictionary ever, explains clearly, with phrases and more. I got it for my niece that started high school in a Threelingual high school in Costa Rica, and this the second time I bought one in a period of 16 years. They are great, and you won’t regretted at all.

This is cheap and good, but if you're buying it for college level Spanish classes, you may want to save your money and just use spanishdict.com or other online dictionaries. I found myself not using this at all.

This was the best English-Spanish dictionary for many years, though it is somewhat outdated now being an identical reprint of my dog-eared 1991 version. Nevertheless, it remains a useful tool when I'm unable to access WordReference.com or similar online tools.

I was a French major, and quickly learned that Bantam makes the best English/French language dictionary. Superior listing of idioms, as well as containing a lot more words than most similar products, are its principal strengths. The same is true of the Spanish/English version. I tried two others before learning of the Bantam edition. Hands down, the best student dictionary.
