Bought as replacement for 25 year old amp that blew from continuous use. This not only looks much better and matches my other black devices, it is lighter, has a smaller footprint in height and additional features such as Bluetooth and card readers. Well pleased for price.

I actually love this home cinema system. It powers all four surround sound speakers plus the centre one and the subwoofer independently, and you can control all independently. This is exactly what I wanted. It looks smart and cool, has inputs for various wired devices, bluetooth, flash cards/usb etc. and it is a really powerful amp. And I have searched far and wide for something to replace my old Sony home cinema system, (without having to buy speakers too), and this really ticked all the boxes.But then.....two major downsides. The first is a minor annoyance. What you turn the system on, it returns to the default volume. So because it is a powerful amp and produces a huge volume, I have had to turn the main volume controller down to a fraction above zero so that when it turns on, it doesn't blast us out with volume. This means that using the remote controller, you can only turn the volume down, not up. As it is governed by the main volume controller. What a pain, but liveable with. It should remember the last volume setting and start at that level.And then the biggie: there is a cooling fan in the amp which runs permanently, even when the amp is in standby mode. So really you have to switch it off which kind of takes away the point of the remote control stand by button. And the fan is REALLY NOISY. You would have to ramp the volume up considerably, something quite within the capabilities of the product as it has a powerful amp in it, in order to drown out the noise of the fan. We decided that we simply cannot live with the noise of the fan, so regrettably the product has to go back. But I have had excellent service from the supplier, so full marks to them, and they have even recommended a similar product without the fan which I will be buying shortly to try out.

Sound quality is good and clean. No distortion or audio hum/fuzz however like alot of the other reviews said the fan that runs all the time is rather loud but loud music easily drowns it out overall great product thankyou fenton 👍

The power & sound of this amplifier is amazing for the price.What really lets it down is the fan. It’s on all the time, including when the amp’s on standby and is really noisy.It’s now started vibrating as well.A real shame as it’s brilliant apart from that

Fan a bit noisy - not good for qiet music

unit is good and looks the part but there is a loud heat sink fan running in the background, so not really suitable for movies etc

Space saving, sickness easy to install and the sound.

Unit is ok ,but the noise of the internal fans is excessively high and can be heard over sound
