Lugols Iodine 15% - 50ml Glass Bottle with Dropper Insert

This a quality iodine, taking it for my thyroid, it has a slight taste but not too bad, it is good value

It is only for medical reasons that I stumbled apon the world of Iodine. My fatigue, foggy/tired head, lack of drive and general lack of 'umph', I've put down to kids home husband at work for sometime now. But I eat well I sleep well and I am not particularly over weight and quite active so I think 'surely I shouldn't feel this way'. I read many of the reviews before deciding to buy this product and the book.I was not discouraged by those women who thought it was some wonder drug to loose weight. I find I am carrying an unwanted 7plus pounds and just thought that if the Lugols Iodine worked I would feel better generally and with a clear head and re-newed vitality I'd probably notice I was being more active and this in turn would aid weight loss. Today is Sunday and I started on my 6 drops of Iodine in water on Thursday. Either it is a great placebo effect or simply... It works. I am really very pleasantly surprised. My head is clear, no fogginess at all. My general feeling of wellness is very noticeable to me, all of which just makes me feel so much better. I am genuinely much happier even thought I am already a happy and very positive person.I am an educated women in my early forties working full time with 2 kids and a home and this is the boost, the lift which has been lacking. I am not saying that all of sudden you feel like Wonder Woman, but I would reccomend it!!!If you know your own body you will see the improvement.Downsides: it doesn't taste all that nice but very mild in half a glass of water.Upside: sml dosage, easy to take. Bottle will last for ages. It works, at least it has made a difference to me.I'd like to find out more about iodine now and will be interested to see if I keep feeling this well and if I loose any pounds as a result of the Iodine or it's lifting effects.

I'm giving this little bottle four stars as I can't ever give five stars - it seems to be agains my 'personal religion'. However in place of the tablets I can no longer get hold of this is a very good substitute. It is difficult to get the correct dosage as the bottle top is tight (on mine) and I have to shake it vigorously to get a drop out. However it does work and I felt the positive changes within hours of taking it the first time.I would suggest to anyone to find a health practitioner to tell you exactly how much you should have though. If your iodine is so low that one drop won't really help you much you need to do it several times per day. On the other hand if you iodine is not that low you could cause your self to have a low functioning thyroid if you take too much.Get a 24 hour urine test done and get the iodine. Happy healthing!

I took a third of the recommend dose as it is very strong by any standards. Almost immediately, i felt a difference and gradually it became more pronounced. My extremities felt warmer and my facial skin softer. My body and mind became more relaxed and especially at night which helped me to sleep. The aching i would regularly feel in my neck and shoulders, probably in the glands, disappeared, as did the clicking of my ankles. After trying thyroxine years ago, with no discernable benefit , i began to doubt that i had a thyroid problem. Even kelp tablets, with 225mcg iodine content, did not make much more difference. Luckily, i gave Lugol's 15% a go. My thyroid test results were never more than borderline but my symptoms suggested otherwise. Lugol's has convinced me either that i had an iodine deficiency or that i have a greater need for iodine than average. I stopped after 3 weeks, as suggested, but would start again if acute symptoms returned.
