Hornet 14929 - scooter scooter GS 200, pedal scooter Big Wheel, neon-green

I bought this item just after Christmas 2019 to get me from where I park to where I work, approximately a mile over a variety of surfaces, some rough, some smooth. I have to say I've been extremely pleased with this purchase. It folds up neatly in the back of the car, runs really well on most surfaces and is sturdy enough for a 70+ kg person. The rear footbrake isn't much use in the wet and your trouser legs tend to get wet from the spray off the back wheel in wet conditions but overall I would thoroughly recommend one for a cheap way to get about in a Town centre.

Bought this for my 4 year old son who has a physique of a 6 year old. The wheels are larger and wider than the cheaper scooters which allow him to maintain a better balance. He is on every day to and from school. The scooter has been abused left, right and centre and still in great shape. This is a high quality scooter

Arrived in its box folded, only additional packaging was some card on the kickstand. Unfolded really easily, handlebar height has some preset holes, but as this was for my daughter I needed it to be as low as possible and the quick release after tightening, meant that this worked well. I had to do some additional setting up, tightening the grub screw on the folding mechanism so that it didn't rattle so much (trade off is that the folding release becomes harder). Had to tighten the quick release on the handlebar with the provided Allan keys. Finally the steering was jerky and grinding a lot, this was due to the headset being overtightened, and was easily remedied (look for vids on scooter threaded headset adjustment/installation). All in all a Good value purchase, will see how it weathers my 6yo daughters riding.

I was suprised at the quality of this scooter considering the price - well made and runs pretty smoothly - for this for a 7yr old but also works just as well for an adult!

I'm very disappointed with this scooter. Ordered the first one, the box was damaged, the brake was bent, it smelt of cigarette smoke, and the stickers were porrly applied with lots of bubbles and creases. I requested a replacement item which arrived quickly and in better packaging. The smell was better however the stickers were still poorly applied in places and the grip tape had transfered from the brake to the main steering frame. It seems like this is very poor design and badly put together. We ended up keeping the second replacement because it was so close to Christmas and received a partial refund. The scooter rides fine, a little rickety at times but our son seems happy with it which is the main thing.

Excellent scooter for the price. Looks good,rides smooth and is very fast. Just what my son wanted.

Nice but very shaky and a bit high platform. I was expecting a bit more from a brand like Hudora. I bought this one for my partner. The Razor scooter for my 7 yrs old is better made. Fast delivery though. Hope it last! Thanks

J’ai acheter pour mon fils de 7ans.Trottinette était trop grand.Ça se voir par où on mette les pieds. Mais les roues est bon qualité, ils absorbe le choque.Ça fais presque 2ans mais il est solide!!La trottinette (pas la même marque)que on as acheter pour petit frère en même temps est déjà HS.Maintenant ils fais des tandems et ça l’air encore plus amusant !

Ruote larghe, pedana spaziosa per piedi grandicelli come quelli di mio figlio che ha 9 anni e calza un 37. Trasmette una rassicurante sensazione di robustezza ma non ho ancora capito come mai il manubrio giri un pò a scatti. Sembrandomi una casa strana ero tentato di restituirlo ma mio figlio lo usa senza problemi e dice che la cosa non gli crea nessun fastidio quando il monopattino è in movimento. Probabilmente il fenomeno sparirà o si attenuerà con l'uso. Si piega molto comodamente e rapidamente, andando ad occupare pochissimo spazio e questo permette di trasportarlo in macchina agevolmente o di riporlo quando non viene usato. Le 4 stelle sono dovute soltanto al fenomeno del manubrio a scatti che però pare non pregiudichi minimamente la guida e la stabilità.

muy buena compra va de maravilla, incluso para adultos tiene las ruedas grandes, el plegado es muy fácil, y se ve muy robusto el caballete también va muy bien calidad precio inmejorable.

Im Prinzip ein akzeptabler Roller – ich habe ihn aber nach einer Woche weiterverkauft, und mir einen Rebel Scooter Urban Boulder bestellt.1. Bei dem Preis sollte man keine perfekte Montage erwarten. Die Lenkstange musste erstmal richtig justiert werden, damit der Lenker gerade sitzt. Der Schnellspanner für die Lenkersäule musste auch justiert werden, war zu lasch (bei dem Preis sollte man keine ...). Alle anderen Teile waren korrekt eingestellt.2. Die Lenkstabilität ist sehr gut, weil die Gabel das Vorderrad einige cm nach vorn positioniert (ähnlich wie bei den meisten Fahrrädern). Ich habe mehrere Roller in einem Kaufhaus probiert, da lag die Vorderradachse zum Teil geometrisch nicht so weit vorn, oder sogar direkt unter dem Zentrum der Lenksäulenachse. Daraus resultiert dann eine nervöse Richtungsstabilität – unerträglich!3. Die Lenksäule ist bei diesem Hornet nicht um 180 Grad verdrehbar, das ist sehr wichtig! Es gibt Roller, bei denen es möglich ist, dann wird, bei dieser Geometrie, im Falle des Verdrehens, das Vorderrad nach hinten versetzt, und man stürzt gleich in der ersten Kurve (hatte ich im Kaufhaus — Ellbogen, Handgelenk und Knie angeschlagen, alles tat wochenlang weh ...).4. Das Trittbrett ist in normaler Höhe über dem Boden, wie bei den meisten Rollern. Ich dachte mir, dann hängt man auch nicht bei überfahrt von Kantsteinen usw. fest. Andererseits: Wenn das Trittbrett tiefer ist, muss das Standbein nicht so stark gebeugt werden, man fährt dann angenehmer. (Erster Grund, einen anderen Roller zu bestellen)5. Die Räder sind knallhart, wahrscheinlich, wie bei den meisten Rollern. Ich denke, bei Kinder macht sich das nicht so stark bemerkbar, aber ich bin erwachsen und wiege 72 kg. (Zweiter Grund, einen anderen Roller zu bestellen)Verglichen mit meinen Inline-Skates, Rollen mit Härtegrad 81A, war das Fahren doch sehr unkomfortabel.Fazit: bei meinen Ansprüchen ist der Hornet nicht optimal. Aber er erfüllt die angegebenen Eigenschaften.Der nun bestellte Roller ist tiefer gelegt und hat Rollen mit Härte 82A. Warten wir's ab.Ich wollte nicht gleich den teuersten bestellen (z.B. »Micro Flex Blue«), weil ich noch nicht weiß, wie oft ich den Roller benutze, denn ich brauche ihn nur, um schneller zur U-Bahn zu kommen. Sonst fahre ich lieber Inline-Skates.

Sono molto soddisfatto di questo monopattino. Ruote grandi che ti permettono di andare ovunque, molto robusto ed anche una bella estetica.L'ho comprato per mia figlia di 4 anni che lo ha apprezzato molto. Infatti a prima vista potrebbe sembrare grande per un bambino di quella età invece vi assicuro che va benissimo. Comunque è adatto anche per gli adulti tanto che lo uso anche io.Una comodità: è munito anche di un piccolo cavalletto che consente di tenerlo in piedi quando non lo si usa.
