Leather Carry Case for Uniden UBC125XLT and UBC75XLT Radio Scanner

Well, have read mixed reviews for this little leather case. I've found it to be well made, solid stitching all round, especially around the base. The size is exactly right for my Uniden 125XLT. The window and speaker holes in exactly right place. All of the buttons are visible with none of the case overlapping them. So far I don't see any of the small metal press studs at the back causing damage to the radio. If this turns out to be a problem then a small patch of that thin compressed foam will do the trick. But at the moment I don't see any need for this.There are also 2 small D rings at the side rear to attach a strap if need be.The XLT125 fits snug into the pouch, The plastic pocket holder remains in place and slips over the outside of the leather pouch no problem at all.The buttons all work quite easily through the plastic window. The leather is very supple.This plastic window does give a bit of reflection in sunlight (to be expected anyweay), but if you turn on the bac k light when you scan eetc, then this is sirted.All in all, I think this is good value for money and does the job of protecting my little 125 XLT very well.

Good protection for my radio and well worth the money

Just got this case to protect my scanner. I think it offers great solid protection, well made and great fit.

Well, I've had this case for over 12 months now, protecting my precious Uniden UBC125XLT. I have to say that after heavy use for over a year, the thing hasn't let me down. In fact the leather has conformed from it's initial stiffness and become part of the product in a beautiful way. The heavy stitching shows no sign of failure, nor has the transparent plastic keypad/screen window. This has surprised me. 12 Months on and it just seems to work and work and work. If you value your UBC125XLT, then this case is a must. I have not been prompted, nor received samples for this review; it is genuine and impartial.

Does what it says as a carry case.BUT there is no carry strap with the case so you still have to either hold it all the time or, put it in a pocket - not easy with a long aerial attachedAnybody know where you can get a suitable strap?

Came with my retirement gift. Fits the Uniden like a glove & looks really well made. Had to adjust the belt clip as it was to tight & now looks loose until you clip it onto your belt. The shoulder strap is robust with two metal snap clips to secure it to the case. With a firm base it easily stands upright. All in all worth purchasing
