Gamer's Perspective
Hi, I going to try to cover what was important to me and the questions I had when I was pickingout a new microphone.Product:I was looking for a microphone for gaming, skype and teamspeak.I play a lot of competitive games such as Counter strike and World of tanks. I also play planetside 2 and others. If your a gamer and have questions, feel free to add me on steam: titanium_eye.Features:In features, this microphone is lacking, you can change the position of the microphone but only the Y axis, so it only goes up or down. One of the problems I had was there was no mute switch, which was a problem for me as I do need to mute my microphone occasionally. It was very easy to assemble, without need to read the manual.Material + Build Quality:The shell is made of only plastic, it is very light so some added weights would have been nice. However the cable is very well fitted as I may have sucked it into my vacuum once, which I thought it would such have ripped or broke but it was fine. The base feels like they will snap easily.Overall I feel the quality if cheap but for this price you can't really complain.Voice Quality:The voice quality isn't the best, but it will do for clear communications and it is very clear, there is no static or buzzing which was a relief. The quality is certainly better than the standard boom mic you get with gaming headsets.Design:Looks very slick with it's matte black, However I do wish the wire came from under the base.Verdict:For a cheap microphone, this will certainly meet the price, for any better you may simply need to buy a more expensive microphone, but this will certainly be more than I need as a gamer and the occasional commentary for youtube.

and the stand is very lightweight so it can be easily knocked over and it does not quite sit flat ...
While this microphone definitely does the job, and the audio is reasonably clear for the price, there is a lot of static noise generated by this microphone which almost makes it unsuitable for anything other than push to talk. The static is a low level hiss that is persistently there and spoils the mic in my opinion. Turning down the gain on the mic does reduce this noise but also means your voice is quieter. It is also very sensitive in that it can pick up noise from downstairs in my house, and across the room it picks up keystrokes from my keyboard. The microphone arm is non flexible, and the stand is very lightweight so it can be easily knocked over and it does not quite sit flat on my desk.As I said at the beginning, it is a good mic for the money and the problems I have are fairly minor. You just don't want to use it in a noisy environment or without headphones. It will not get more than a 3 from me, but you would probably only do better if you were to spend more. I would recommend to people on a budget.

A good basic microphone but you may need to set the boost in settings.
This is a cheap but very good desktop microphone. It works with our Windows 7 and 10 systems, just plug it in. You may need to set microphone boost to get it to work with speech recognition. The Base, Microphone holder and microphone with cable come as 3 parts and need to be slotted together. The angle of the microphone (up and down can be easily adjusted.

Would definitely recommend.
A good mic with very good signal to noise results. Cable is cheap and poorly screened but copes well. Base is very light and stability could be an issue. Performance is very good and sensitivity fine. Reasonable value for money and I give it 4 stars. Would definitely recommend.

Meh.
I seem to have some problem with this microphone, I need to have my mouth 2-5cm next to it for people to be able to hear me but other than that the microphones seems to be ok for it's price. The built is plastic and microphone is very light which is a problem because it moves very easily.I would not recommend this microphone if you're looking for something solid for next year or so you should find something else.

For the price it is a good microphone. I used it to record videos for one of my college assignments and the sound is great, although if you have it on your table the keyboard and mouse can be hear clearly. Only 4/5 because of the materials it's made form and the short cable.

Great buy
It ticks all the boxes for me, however it should have been made clear by the retailer that this mike is directional. It must be pointed towards your mouth, otherwise it will only catch background noise.Perfect for webchat, useless for audio recordings. Fortunately, I planned it for Skype use where it definitely delivers.

Great Value
Great mic For the price Hardly any static heard by friends when talking over skype only reason it doesnt get 5 stars is for the base being plastic and if bent can snap easily but that a minor issue Overall great mic Must buy if looking for something that works and is cheap.
