The perfect nightlight for my inquisitive son.
My 3 year old is animal mad and he love love loves this globe. He enjoys talking about where his favourite animals live in the world before he falls asleep at night. We also have friends and family in Scotland, Spain, Italy, Australia, China and the USA, so this has helped him understand how far away from us they are.We use it as the only light in his room at bedtime and it gives off enough soft light to read by as well as providing a great distraction to allow me to leave him - "you look at your globe and i'll be back to check on you in 10 minutes" He's always asleep when I go back in. Because the bulb is so well hidden we can have this right on his bedside table knowing he wont burn himself on it.Its not the greatest in terms that its quite rudimentary - the diagrams are more like illustrations, Wales is a bit squished, and it really only covers the basic animals. Its also a bit difficult to spin but ours may just need oiling or something.Overall a great item for the younger child. Educational, fun and practical!

but lights up nicely and nice illustrations for children
A lot of money for a plastic globe, but lights up nicely and nice illustrations for children. My niece loves it

Great for the kids
The globe has some really good features for kids, nice to have the illustrations throughout. It's raised some good questions from my little girl already, so well happy with that. She did say to me randomly (why do fat people live in Japan). Proof right there that she is paying attention to the images placed on the countries! We have since Sumo wrestled to help explain.

Great product. Great customer service.
I would give this product and seller 5 stars. Although when it arrived, the light switch didn’t work; when I contacted the seller, they promptly replied to my email and sent out another globe. This was done all within a couple of days and I didn’t need to fuss about returning the first globe (which is still good - just doesn’t light up). The globe itself is great as you can see the animals that live around the world. My nephew loves it!

Nice globe, flimsy stand.
This globe feels low quality. I have no experience of buying a similar product but for £30 I would have expected something a bit nicer. Eg the stand is very lightweight so when you want to rotate the globe the whole thing including its stand and power cable spins on the table. The globe itself is nicely illustrated but the overall assembly isn’t very sturdy and doesn’t feel quite right.

Excellent value for money
Excellent product everything it was said to be was true. Brilliant way of helping a young child to become interested in geography and the world in which they live. It is also a beautiful lamp.

Great for children
A fantastic globe for younger children as it doubles up as a night-light and has images of animals located in the countries that they live in the wild. However I was disappointed that it didn’t have as many smaller city and town names printed on it as the much earlier edition of Tecnodidattica used to have.
