9-4/5 Inch Standpipe Compatible with Hot Spring Spas Tri-X Cartridge Filter (1, White)

Local hot tub dealer wanted $40 for one of these and 2-3 weeks to receive it. What?! 2-3 weeks of not using my hot tub and $40? No thank you. I ordered 2 of these from Amazon (one as a spare) and received it in 2 days and was back in the 'tub. It feels just as sturdy as the original part and I'm hoping it will last even longer. Original lasted 3 years...

I have an older Hotsprings spa. The filter tubes are now becoming brittle and parts were not readily available at local dealers. This fit perfectly and I will be ordering a couple more to replace the others.

My hot tub is almost 20 years old. We pay for at least one major repair every year. However this was the first time I felt like I got an incredible bargain on a product! It was less than $8 fit perfect so I ordered 2 more! In case I break another one. I don't write reviews very often but this was an incredible bargain.Just do itBruce

Fits perfectly, works like a charm

The filter stems on hot tubs seem to be the most delicate items around. Awful system really - and common enough that replacement stems is a popular request.These - work Assuming you can get the broken stem out of the tub. I had to resort to making a notch in the brittle plastic with a chisel then unscrewing it by tapping it counterclockwise. Not the easiest task in the 1'x2' filter box elbow deep in water. Another person commented on the flange being almost non-existent. It is indeed small, but it really doesn't seem to matter - it does its job regardless. I bought two - they're cheap and they may no longer be available the next time the stem breaks off.
