Rothenberger 67105 Dry Pressure Test Kit (0-6 BAR)

I do a lot of plumbing where it's not practical to make the plumbing "live" before the pipework is covered (under floors, in walls etc). This well priced device allows you to check all your work allowing the pipework to be hidden with confidence. Pressurise the pipework ( I pressurise to 3 bar), if you have a leak the pressure will fall enabling you to find and repair before it's too late. Just one small niggle, if you don't replace the valve cap after pressurising the valve will leak air slowly making you think you have a leak. Couldn't be without this now.

Used this to test new bathroom piping including hot cold and central heating. Such an easy way to dry run your plumbing, combined it with a portable car tyre inflator and can now plaster without worrying about leaks on hidden piping. Decided to buy a branded item as I have used Rothenberger for years and its never let me down. It looks like this is a long term addition to my tool kit.

Really handy for those small projects. Worked perfectly out of the box! No modifications needed.No need for a relief valve as one reviewer mentioned, just stick your finger nail or philips screwdriver in the valve.

This has been very useful as it's allowed me to test the new plumbing I'm installing without the risk of flooding the house. The only issue is that the Schrader valve doesn't seal, as several other reviewers have commented, which shows little or no testing or quality control by the maufacturer.It's more practical than some of the other similar products as it has the flexible hose & Speedfit connector included in the set. Just make sure you test it before you use it so you know the valve isn't leaking.

Perfect for job testing pipework

This is a very useful item.Great for pressure testing the pipework. But beware that the pipe you are connecting to has been properly debarred, as it can catch the o-ring in the pushfit connection and cause problems

Very impressed with this. Had considered getting a plumber to check a new system as was nervous about getting things wrong but simply push fit capped all ends of install, popped this on at source, pressurised with standard upright cycle pump and was able to diagnose 2 small leaks immediatly. Then left system pressurised for 24 hrs to ensure no tiny leaks and added water. Much cheaper than more soohisticated versions and did exactly what was expected. Saved a few bob on the plumber too :D

Good product shame it doesn't have a air release button

Produit un peu différent de l'image. Manomètre maintenant avec une bonne protection en caoutchouc. Il faut trouver une solution pour l'entrée/sortie en 15mm. (J'ai acheté un tee Speedfit 15x10x10.)
