The Odd One Out

Well worth it
Fun book and challenging. My granddaughter loves this book. I bought it for her when she was just a little over 4 years of age. She had less trouble than I finding the odd one out but that doesn't mean it didn't take her a minute or two on some of them. Even the easier ones (for her) were still enjoyable and at 5 1/2 years old, she still enjoys it. The drawings and rhymes are charming.

This book is awesome! My 4 and 5 year olds love hidden pictures, I-spy books, that kinda thing. This book is actually really challenging - they found "the odd one out" a few times before I did. Cute, short rhymes to go with each page. My 4 year old only likes to do a few pages at a time, whereas the 5 year old would love it if this book had 100 pages.

My daughter absolutely loves reading this book and finding the odd one out over and over. Great quality hardback book. Will be checking out more from this author.

Such a fun book!
I got this a gift for my nephew who has never really been one to sit quietly so I want sure if he was going to dig this book or now, but as soon as he got it into his hands he was sitting on the couch trying to find all the odd ones out. And I will had that all the illustrations are beautifully done and fun to look at.

Fun Book and Graphics!
We love this book! My son has recently been interested in "iSpy" type books and this one is so fun and different than you regular spy books. It is a little easy for him (he's 6), but my 4-yr-old loves it and give him just enough of a challenge! I would highly recommend for 3-5 yr olds.

A hit with my 3 year old
I got this book on recommendation from a friend and it really was a hit with my three year old.The rhymes are cute, and the images are unique. It's pretty tricky to find the "odd one out" in each image, but of course once your kid has solved it they'll be able to do it again very quickly the next time around. With my three year old, and actually until she was well into her fourth year on this planet, the fact that she knew where the odd one out was didn't discourage her from picking this book off the shelf at story time. She really enjoyed listening to the rhymes and also trying to "race" me to point out the different image on the page. The book quality is great. We got it in hardcover. This is a fun book. I would recommend it to anyone with kids who are between the ages of say 2 and 5. Will probably need to pass this one on before she turns six though as the novelty will surely wear off by then.

The artwork in this book is beautiful. I purchased two of these as gifts for toddlers and the books are durable, large, and vibrant. I might recommend this book for the 3 and up crowd because my toddler has a hard time finding the "odd one out" on his own, but the pictures are beautiful and it's fun to read. Highly recommend!

The illustrations were wonderful, though
I bought this book as a gift for my two year old grandson. When it arrived and I looked through the pages I quickly determined it would be much too difficult for him to pick out the item that was "different" on each page. I even showed a few to my husband and he had a hard time! I also agree with other reviewers that once the child does master finding the different object, the thrill is gone. The illustrations were wonderful, though.

Muy buen libro.
Ahora no tengo tiempo de explicarlo, pero muy buen libro, de los que uno se guarda y recuerda toda la vida.

Beautiful illustrations, great quality fun book!
I can't rave about this book enough - apart from the fact my little 3 year old enjoys looking at it, even after she worked out where all the odd ones out were, the printed animals are aesthetically fabulous. It's very trendy, very nordic, and the sort of designs that I would happily have fabric in! The pages are nice a thick, not shiny and the whole thing shouts quality. Lovely book, with a little rhyme at the side of each page to accompany the odd one out, which makes it a nice story book even after you know where to find them all!

Beautiful book
My newly 4 year old granddaughter loves this. She know where they all are but still wants me to read the rhymes before she finds them again with a flourish. It's easier than the sister book (Find the Pair) and I think it would be fine for age 3-5.It's also a beautiful book to hold and look at. Lovely illustrations.
