Salter EK2002SILVER Nutri Pro Super Charged Multi-Purpose Nutrient Extractor Blender, Silver

Great product which I everyday. I do not have anything else to compare them against, since I have never used a Nutri Bullet etc.The motor is very powerful, and makes a bit a noise, but what would you expect with 1000w, be reasonable. Its only used for less than 1 min, and I am sure that the ubiquitous air phones in the air all day and the sub woofer on the surround sound makes far more of a din.I would certainly buy this product again being an ardent juicing fan. Its not a very light machine, so nit easy to slip in your suitcase, especially if you are traveling with Ryanair, its ca kit for home primarily unless you travelling by car.One word of warning is that be careful where you buy it, and I would only buy them via Amazon, for the peace of mind, since I bought this one form Amazon, and saw a cheaper one elsewhere, tried to cancel on Amazon, but the cancellation was put through to late, so I ended up with two of them.The cheaper one ( was 25 pounds cheaper) did not last more than six weeks before the motor went. I suspected that this was a rogue shipment, endorsed by a large distributor ( do not want to implicate myself by calling names), since you can tell from the sound of the machines etc that one as an inferior product.I will still buy another since I am happy with the product. Please do not fill them up beyond the max level, since you may encounter some of the problems that others have said about them unscrewing, this has also happened to me, but after prolonged usage, I have worked out why.In the issue of tightening. i suspect if you full them above the max, thee is a tendency to over tighten and then it becomes a bit harder to open, but if you work within the limits, then you should be fine.

Today I received my Salter NutriPro 1000 from Amazon and tried it straight away.The outer Amazon box was slightly damaged because I think they used a bigger box than needed but it was a fast despatch and fast delivery. Just in time for Lunch!The recipes amazing! All with little illustration and easy to follow. They make you want to use the blender every day.I decided to order it because currently I am fighting an inflammation and swallowing is painful a bit. I want to improve it myself. Also I am no longer in my 20's lol so definitely need better nutrition to combat any bigger trouble. I highly believe in nutrition.I was sceptic at first reading some of your comments but I trusted Salter as it is not my first products from them.I found the price is well worth too as I am recently not doing too well financially.It's an easy to use and easy to clean blender. Reading the reviews here I was careful not to overfill it and made sure the lidl was screwed well onto it.To remove it you do need a little strength but it's possible even for someone with joint pain. So do not be afraid to tighten it well prior use. It won't leak.I haven't got everything at home for the first try so I improvised.1 apple, 1 orange, a little carrot, half handful of spinach, same rolled oats, a little fresh ginger, and a little of cloves to further help fight the inflammation.I was worried about the spinach as normally I wouldn't eat it! It came all out delicious! It was a surprise. I am converted and cannot wait to make a different one next time. The blender arrived exactly around lunch time so hunger is sorted too thanks to the oats I used. It's good to know that we always can improvise using the Salter recipes as a guide. The drinking cup lidl though a bit useless, too big and chunky to drink from it, but for me it's not a problem just use any other cup.Wish I bought it earlier! Highly recommend it!

I searched carefully for this machine as it seemed from reviews to be a consistent high scorer. I have been using it for a couple of weeks now and have tried a few mixes in it, making healthy smoothies and thickshakes for my son. It blends quickly, I haven't had a leakage problem with it as I don't totally fill it. It does make a bit of noise but it isn't for very long so it's not an issue. The containers are solid, chunky and robust, nice to handle and easy to wash clean. It's all very straightforward and simple to use and doesn't take up much space on the work surface. The only thing I am not sure about is that when it was blending a rather gloopy/solid mixture it struggled, made a smell of hot plastic/motor(!) so I stopped it and added a little more liquid which sorted the problem, so I'm hoping it didn't suffer any overheating damage from that episode. I have noticed a slight smell occasionally since then so will have to monitor things but so far it is still working perfectly well. I am very happy with the quality of the machine and its accessories and importantly the quality of its output, blitzing frozen banana and ice cubes in smoothies within 30 seconds - makes it fun to make a nutritious (hidden health foods!) shake for my fussy eater son!
