Hard to grip but you get the knack quick, comfortable and reliable eco option
Mine arrived in a plastic bag which I believe is amazon's contribution but I'm not sure, so be wary of that. But for the product themselves, they're the best value for what is on the market! Nice to be contributing less plastic in the world, and have something that is still a "throwaway" convenience towards period care. Best to insert with dry fingers and hold them in the same place - your moisture can make the grip difficult if you don't get them on the grooves in a dry spot. Application is the same as usual, just a cardboard tube alternative; I got a little pinch once but I think you get the hang of using these within 1 or 2 uses. All in all a great eco option to start with, or if you're like me and don't fancy the messy aspect of menstrual cups or reusable pads just yet (something to try when life slows down a little maybe)

Comfortable
I really like this brand, feels comfortable and all the wrapping can be recycled. I had one that had to be thrown away as it was too stiff and wouldn’t pop out of its cardboard case but I’ve figured out that giving it a little twist before use will solve that problem.I definitely would recommend to others as i also buy the same brand panty liner, which are equally as good.I’ll continue to buy both as long as the prices don’t dramatically go up🙂

Application Issues
I don't know if I'm just incompetent but I pretty much always struggle to insert these. They work just fine when in place, but the applicator really doesn't like pushing up without a lot of faff.

Whoever designed these never used a tampon
Maybe I got a bad batch. There's a major flaw with these tampons, which is actually inserting the darn thing. The top of the applicator has the usual petals, but they are so strong it refuses to let go of the actual tampon inside, and the cardboard is so shiny you can't get a grip on it. Now, when you are inserting a tampon, just for the manufacturer's information, you often end up with slippery fingers. Cause, you know, blood and stuff. So you're now standing in the bathroom with your knickers round your ankles, with an applicator that keeps slipping out of your fingers, cursing and swearing because when you do manage to keep hold of it you need the strength of a gorilla to actually get the thing to slide out of the tube and into place. I tested one not in-situ and it needed a ridiculous amount of effort to push the tampon out, even after twiddling around with it. Tip - it should be easy! The applicator is just to help you along, it shouldn't be an episode of the Krypton Factor combined with the Texas Chainsaw Massacre just inserting the thing.Once you've actually got it in there, and put your slipped disc back in, they stay put well and don't irritate your hoohah. However I really don't think it's worth the trouble unless you react badly to the regular stuff. Natracare need to take a look at the standard Tampax card applicator and learn how to make a tampon that actually functions.

Love these! I got a bad allergic reaction from Tampax; I've been using these for a while now without any issues. I'm also more comfortable because I know the product is made from organic cotton without any harmful pesticides added. The tampon wrappers are not plastic, and neither is the application, which is wonderful; this product seems to be completely plastic free including its packaging. The applicator works well and the wrapper removes easily. Overall, I'm really impressed with this product.

A friend recommended these tampons to me as I always get terrible tummy pains while using tampax, I also get terrible PMS. She said it’s because tampax has bleach and other chemicals in them why not try the natracare ones.Well I’m so glad I listened to her, as since I’ve been using these (3 circles) I’ve had no more tummy pain just the usual before I come on, and my PMS has even settled massively.I highly recommend this product to others.

No bleach!
Tampons are tampons really. What can I say! Good that they are more natural than Tampax with no bleach.
