Yes. Battery still runs well after a few days charging. Its never run out and i have used it to clean a 4 bedroom house. Hope this helps.

Q: Could anyone tell me if this is safe for loop pile wool carpets. I cannot see if it has brushes - I have been told Dyson brushes are too harsh .

I bought this vacuum just after having new wool carpets and was extremely frustrated as after 2 minutes of vacuuming I spent 10-15 minutes unclogging. Eventually I swapped it with friends cleaner and my life was returned to marmony!! Not impressed at all in its ability to clean. Sorry

The height of my Morphy Richards "Supervac" cleaner with a folded handle is:27" (69 cm) when mounted on the charging cradle &25" (64 cm) when standing directly on a floor.It would be wise to assume it is standing on it's charging cradle when it's being stored.Regards
