A very good product.
I bought this instead of my usual (ReMag) because itโs better value and essentially pretty much the same. The bottle is smaller, and the dose of magnesium in the half teaspoon lower. But even though the magnesium dise is lower, itโs still more cost effective. The taste is similar to ReMag and at first isnโt pleasant at first, but your tastebuds do get used to it. This magnesium works really well for me reducing cramps and relaxing me. I shall continue to buy this.

Amazing healing stuff!
This is a great product, so far, I have recommended it to several people, all who are benefitting too! After chemo, I am repairing myself and knew by my symptoms of fatigue, muscle cramping/twitching, poor sleep and an over sensitivity to sound (none of which I had previously had) that I'm likely very magnesium deficient...I started at half dose for a few days and did feel deep tiredness, aching etc. symtoms I have previously experienced during de-toxes...I built up to full dose, my sleep returned, my muscles are improving and I feel much more myself, with a lot of energy most days...it is truly amazing...this particular product is effective because it is angstrom sized, the same size as natural magnesium found in veg etc. This is more accessable for our bodies' cells and is absorbed directly into the cells, bypassing the digestive system and therefore preventing stomach upsets if you need to take a higher dose, like me...yes, it tastes metallic...because it is a mineral! Just add it to water or juice, it's no big deal!

It's ok
I think that itโs a good product ,but the flavor is not what I expected. Even though i will keep taking it .I hope it works for my lower back pain.

Hope this might help anyone as confused as I was by magnesium formulations.
I was SO confused about the different forms of magnesium, how they were absorbed, why some forms were absorbed better than others, if or why they were beneficial in different ways. Utter confusion! As far as I can tell, most of the other (tablet) forms of magnesium which you take orally are likely to be poorly absorbed as they need to be broken down in your gut and metabolized via your liver in order to present the magnesium in a form which your body cells can use. This is an inefficient process so any which cannot be converted/used gets flushed out (excuse the pun), hence the laxative effect which many experience (I did when taking magnesium glycinate!). In addition, calcium competes with magnesium for absorption and so too much calcium in the diet will block magnesium absorption. Our physiological requirement ratio for calcium to magnesium is about 2:1. In dairy products the ratio is 10:1. So, consuming a lot of dairy products (as our modern diets tend to, unfortunately) or a high dose calcium supplement will induce a magnesium deficiency. I was very surprised about this because we are all told to get plenty of calcium to help our bones and teeth but no-one ever tells you to take magnesium as well to prevent deficiency! No wonder we are probably all deficient! Another problem with absorption is tea drinking as that contains tannin, which binds up and chelates all minerals including magnesium. So...keen to avoid all this, I tried the magnesium chloride oil Better You Magnesium Oil Original Spray 100ml which you apply to your skin twice a day as there is good evidence that absorption through the skin is an effective way of sorting out a deficiency. However, the Better You website says this: "If you are Magnesium deficient you may feel a tingle or slight itch upon application of Magnesium. This is normal and is actually a sign of Magnesium deficiency. The tingling will reduce as you continue to use Magnesium." Well! A slight tingle is the under statement of the century! I felt like I wanted to scratch my skin clean off my bones for about half an hour after each application!! Realising this probably meant I am as deficient in magnesium as I suspected, I tried to stick with it but found I was putting the application off because it was so unpleasant to be itching and tingling like that, even when I diluted it. Back to the drawing board. I get that the issue here is about absorption. If you can present the magnesium to your body in a way which is ready to be used and absorbed at cellular level, you dont have the issue of malabsorption and poor bowel tolerance. After reading Dr Carolyn Deans website I was searching for an alternative to her more expensive "Remag" formula and struggling to understand if this Good State product was comparable. Here is what I found out from Carolyn Deans website: "Magnesium enters the cells through channels 500 picometers wide (about 5 billionth of a meter). We normally rely on plants to break magnesium down to this size but some companies use a process that breaks magnesium down to picometer size. In my experience 100 mg of Pico-Ionic magnesium has the same beneficial effect as 5-10 times the other forms of magnesium." How does this compare to the Good State product? They say "The product contains Nano sized magnesium particles utilizing the latest Nano Mineral Technology. The magnesium particles are 0.1 nanometers in diameter, also known as 1 angstrom, giving you a product that is angstrom sized water soluble and completely absorbable." For those of you who don't know your angstroms from your nano particles from your picometers (and who does for goodness sake!?) a bit of googling tells me that the Angstrom sized particles in the Good State formulation are the equivalent of 100 picometers in size. 4 times smaller than the entry channels which Carolyn Dean refers to. So, as far as I can see the "pico-ionic" magnesium which Carolyn Dean uses in her ReMag formula should be entirely comparable absorption rate wise, with the "angstrom sized" magnesium in the Good State formula as both are easily small enough to fit through the 500 picometer gap in the cells. This product is a good deal cheaper than ReMag and I couldnt find a UK supplier, so I went with this instead. I really hope that helps anyone else out there who is finding the magnesium supplementation experience a bit of a brain strain!!

Very happy
Tried countless magnesium supplements but they all upset my digestion and caused light-headedness. Just started taking this and absolutely no side effects. Such a relief to find something I can take to help restore magnesium levels. I was considering expensive IV. Will see how this goes in the long-term but very happy so far. Others complain about the taste but it tastes fine to me in a large glass of water.

Good stuff...
I've order this product a few weeks ago. It took some time till I got used to the taste. Which is not bad, but it does have a taste. By default I am healthy and have no problems. I started taking this product because I've read that we can never get enough of magnesium. I take the recommended dosage along with Ionic Women - for the same reason that we can never get enough minerals either. I think I do feel a difference in my general well being. I seem to feel more energetic. My skin is slightly on the drier side especially on my legs. This too seems to have subsided to some extent. I've stopped drinking both coffee and tea a few months ago. After I've taken the minerals I sometimes get the feeling I've been drinking coffee. That is I kind of get a similar boost from these minerals like when I used to drink coffee. Not to the same extreme sense. But in a good way. I guess I feel the energy these minerals are giving me. The bottle runs a long way when keeping the recommended dosage. So I still have a way to go before I finish the bottle. I too am very curious what other effects I will feel. In any event I do recommend Good State products.

I am 4&1/2 months pregnant and I used Natural Calm to totally eliminate my morning sickness early on. SO- I was wise to the fact that I not only needed magnesium, but that it does wonders for pregnancy symptoms. I've been getting chiropractic adjustments for back pain-which is gone-The Chiropractor kept telling me how tight all my muscles were, how stiff my hamstrings were...So I've been doing lots of stretching. But no matter what I did it seemed like I couldn't kick this really awful inner thigh/groin pain that I only got when I'm laid down in bed at night...by the middle of the night, if I moved-it would wake me up-in the morning-it was excruciating to move my legs. Fortunately I just read "the magnesium miracle" and realized-among other issues I have had and am having-that my tight muscles and tense body may benefit from some more absorb-able magnesium. I ordered this (since I can't afford the pico-ionic stuff mentioned in the book) and after 2 nights-NO MORE THIGH/GROIN PAIN! I was worried that pain meant I had pelvic symphysis pubis or something crazy that would only get worse in pregnancy-but I woke up in the morning without pain today! I also noticed I am overall more relaxed and all the shoveling dirt in my back yard and raking I did yesterday hasn't made me sore at all like I expected. I feel like I am cheating on my pregnancy-finding the easy way out of symptoms twice now with Magnesium. I can't speak as to if this brand of ionic magnesium is superior/inferior to others-I like the easy dosage-the taste is abhorrent (but I don't like regular natural calm much either-or my liquimin trace minerals I add to my RO water) but the dose is so tiny I can put a little water in a shot glass and chase it fairly easily (unlike natural calm). The amount of servings is great for myself and my husband and son-it should last at least a month- wish it came in a glass bottle but I'm happy to have it period. All I can say is-I'll never be without magnesium after reading that book and having such amazing improvements. My last pregnancy was so AWFUL, so miserable that I feared another-now I feel better than I have in a decade at 4&1/2 months pregnant! Update: 2 weeks into taking this daily (about a cap and a half since I'm pregnant and calculated amount needed from the formula in "the Magnesium Miracle") I've noticed some other changes-one of which I had no idea magnesium would effect: I've always had dry lips-they look chapped, have hard, dry, flat smooth areas in the middle of my lips (especially the bottom lip)that will peel off from time to time. It doesn't matter if its hot, humid, dry cold...what time of year...they're always like this. It makes it difficult to wear any kind of lip stick-because it looks gross. I can exfoliate sometimes and get raw lips-but the new skin exposed still makes lipstick look funny. Anyway- yesterday I glanced in the mirror to check my face and noticed my lips are very smooth. They are almost moist looking. No flat, shiny, smooth, dry patches in various states of peeling. I never knew what caused it, but since the magnesium is the only thing I've changed really, I am pretty sure it healed that issue. Also, the other night I ate a ton of sugar at the movies (read the book I mentioned to find out that you need a ton of magnesium to deal with just one sugar molecule) and I woke up with leg cramps. I used magnesium oil on my legs, about 15 sprays each and I took some ionic magnesium. That was the end of the leg cramps. Will not be consuming that much sugar again, but when I do have some now, I'll be taking extra magnesium. I am really excited about all these little changes I'm noticing.

This is a superior magnesium supplement. This supplement is very absorbable so therefore you get the most out of supplementation using this product. Magnesium supplementation is recommended for a number of reasons, given magnesiumโs startling impact on the bodyโs central processes. Several types of magnesium supplements are available, though some are superior to others. Magnesium serves hundreds of functions within the body and is an important part of bone health, heart health, a healthy nervous system, cellular energy, hormone regulation and the relaxation and activation of muscle tissue. Three quarters of all Americans eat a diet that is deficient in magnesium, according to a report published by the World Health Organization. Yet low magnesium is exceedingly simple to correct. And, for those who experience side effects such as diarrhea (which is not likely with the easy absorption of this product) when taking oral supplements, transdermal magnesium is available, which makes increasing magnesium intake as easy as taking a bath or applying a lotion. If you're taking medication most likely you need this supplement because pharmaceuticals depletes your body of essential and vital nutrients such as this. Therefore, when that takes place you're wide open for opportunist infections which is the leading cause of the many illnesses we suffer today. This has help me and my family in soooo many ways in avoiding uneccssary illnesses. I strongly encourage the purchase of this supplement. ****** If you enjoyed my review please vote this review as helpful and feel free to ask me any additional questions and I'll answer them to the best of my abilities ******

usually dont write reviews for vitamins,or mineral sups, sometimes its in your head if you feel great after 1 dose, takes time for body to regulate and organs and such to become healthier (so to say). just like a thyroid medicine, takes 3 weeks to regulate like most things. that said, Magnesium is a essential mineral, works well with Zinc. BUT, over doing it can do more harm than good. Can create heart issues overdoing it. IF YOU take a multi liquid vitamine, or vitamine period, check the Magnesium dose, or your possible dosing close to 2x the norm. thats with ANY mineral and vitamine. I only bring this up because some people write " I take this and that and add this" I like the benefit of INDIVIDUAL essential vitamins and minerals, some are far more important than others for your health, some neutralize others when taken together. LIQUID is the way to go, proven 80% more absorption rate than solids. I take a multi liquid Vitamine and mineral sup, BuT I dose about 60 to 70% in a special shot glass I marked, and take 1/2 recommended serving of individual minerals and vitamins, specifiacally B12, D3 and K2 (another potential health risk if over done), Magnesium, Zinc, and Selenium (another risk if over done)...especially D3 and K2= can stay in system a year if over dose on it!... so just be very aware if mixing things, your close to what's acceptable according to doctors and FDA... include food intake as well if your a die hard health junkie.

I have been using this product since Feb 2020 (today's date is 16 June 2020). I wanted to use it for a few months before writing a review. I am a 50 year old female. For several years I have been suffering from severe brain fog, confusion, disorientation, pain in my muscles, feet, elbows, back and knees. It got so bad that the simple act of picking up a glass to drink was to painful. The brain fog was the hardest to work through because I couldn't focus enough on ANYTHING. I couldn't focus long enough to read or comprehend what I was reading. I couldn't complete easy tasks that I've done a million times. I'd start laundry, but couldn't focus long enough to actually finish doing the laundry. I started doing hard core research on my symptoms and depended heavily on videos because reading was out of the question. I learned that I may not have fibromyalgia after all. Magnesium deficiency and fibro symptoms are very similar. In addition, I started learning about Vitamin D3, K2, B complex vitamins, vitamin C and of course magnesium. I learned from Dr. Carolyn Dean, Dr. Thomas Levy and Jeff T. Bowels. I started my journey with THIS Ionic Trace Magnesium at very high levels. I started taking 1000 mg of this daily and I almost immediately felt human. After 5 days of high doses I could THINK!!! It was like this dark cloud lifted out of my brain. I could REASON and I could READ! Pretty awesome feeling after years of confusion. Sometime in March 2020 I added high doses of vitamin D3 (my blood test had me at a 12...pretty darn low). I started taking 20,000 IU, plus vitamin K2 and the B complex vitamins...and 3000 mg of powdered vitamin C. The pain in my body left, my depression was gone, my thinking cleared up even more. I order 2 bottles of this magnesium monthly. If I get stressed out...I take an extra dose (to avoid magnesium burn). I highly recommend this to everyone. I give this to my 9 year old son. It has a strong taste, but who cares. I rather feel good than worry about the taste. Come on guys...those of you complaining about the taste...it's magnesium!!! You can't expect it to taste like nothing or have a mild mineral flavor. Please buy this if you are not feeling your best.

I ordered two. They came at separate times. This supplement is incredible! I have been on Lyrica for nerve damage but have been researching alot about the benefits of magnesium. As a test, I went off Lyrica for 2 days. Instead of taking the Lyrica, I took the ionic magnesium three times a day (in a glass of water) and I have to tell you it did a better job of controlling my nerves than the Lyrica! I also felt less nerve pain-seriously! I also have severe muscle cramps and it loosened my muscles. I was pain free for two days! I went back on the Lyrica to test what would happen and it was not as effective as controlling the pain than the ionic magnesium. I have also had a dry mouth for many years and was tested for diabetes but I am fine and do not have diabetes. After drinking the magnesium in water the dry mouth went away. I think I have been magnesium deficient for years and the ionic form has one of the best absorption rates. It is really helping my body to restore the balance of enzymes, etc. I was on Gabapentin before going on Lyrica and I think I really depleted my magnesium levels by taking all these meds. As a result my muscles were tighter and I felt more pain. I am going to order more for myself and for friends whom I think have magnesium deficiency and don't know it. Lyrica and other medications deplete your body of magnesium. So in taking it to get better and reduce nerve pain, you are depleting your body of magnesium important for regulating enzymes and helping your nerves and relaxing your muscles. It's a vicious cycle- take meds to reduce pain and then deplete your magnesium levels which cause more pain. Read The Magnesium Miracle by Dr. Dean and get this ionic form and you will not be sorry!! I am still on the Lyrica (need to listen to my doctor) but I'm taking extra doses of Magnesium to make up for the depletion caused by the meds. Eventually I want to get off the meds and just use the Magnesium. The ionic form is awesome and is the form that is best absorbed by the body. Every one out there on Lyrica, Gaba, and other pain killers for nerve damage TAKE ionic MAGNESIUM!! It won't cure everything (depends on your medical condition and severity) but it reduced my nerve pain by 70%. I am also on alpha lipoic acid to help with nerve pain and coQ10 as well. Magnesium offered in vitamin supplements are the worse form and have like a 10-20% absorption rate. So when you take 100 mgs of mag u are really only getting like 2mg if u are lucky. And they recommend women get from 300 to 400 mgs daily! How is that going to happen when magnesium oxide (the king of poor quality magnesium they use in vitamin supplements) has such a poor absorption rate? The liquid ionic form has a 99% absorption rate and you don't have to worry about constipation and popping all those pills! I love this stuff- I told my son it is 'Magic water!"
