AZO Standard Urinary Pain Relief - 30 Tablets

Suffering with UTIs for 6 months, loads of antibiotics have been referred to a urologist.This tablet is a miracle, has taken away the awful stabbing stinging pain.Finally some relief whilst I try to get to root of the problem.Will never be without these nowShowed my GP she said perfectly save to take although oddly not available in the UK.I have discussed these tablets with my Urologists, he say as these are FDA approved, totally safe and happy for me to over next couple of months while further investigation is carried out.This isn’t a cure but wow takes me out of awful pain!

Good product to have. It targets urinary pain better than regular paracetamol.Easy on the stomach too, however the package states not to exceed two days at a time. When I took a little more on day three it made me sick so then I swapped to paracetamol.FYI: if you suffer from an e coli UTI (90% of them are caused by e coli, the other 10% are STD's) take D mannose 500g every 2 hours to flush the e coli out. Works as good as antibiotics without the nasty side effects. Then take 1-3 daily when better for maintenance. The pain will hugely subside within 48 hours which is the two day timeframe you're allowed to use AZO. After that pain is more manageable and you can use other generic pain relief.

These painkillers have been a life saver for me. I suffer with bladder flare ups and no painkillers even touch the pain. After 20mins these calm my bladder down, relieve the symptoms and allow me to urinate with no pain and less frequently. These also work brilliantly to help with the pain for a UTI if you can’t get to your GP straight away, please note they will not get rid of an infection. I take these on holidays with me for emergencies. I have recommended them to friends that suffer with recurrent UTIs. Unfortunately you aren’t able to purchase this product at a pharmacy in the U.K and can’t get them on prescription from you GP but still worth the price to buy them online. These work a million times better than the cystitis sachets you can purchase locally!

These are expensive but after a horrible UTI in which antibiotics were needed & with blood in my urine these were the only thing that relived the pain & need to urinate.The constant need to urinate was my biggest issue as sitting on the toilet was causing my back/leg severe issues. I even had a pillow behind my back it was so painful. Crying as I couldn’t move & begged for sleep. So I did the usual phone on the toilet to do research and found these. I had already gone through 2 packs of cystitis sachets so knew I needed something else (coronavirus and mood Drs appointments!). So whilst I initially thought I am not paying that price, another few hours on the toilet & I didn’t care about the price I would have tried sacrificing our loo roll supply (beginning of lockdown) to the bladder gods. I now have a packet of these for emergencies (house with 4 women).

I had a hysterectomy recently and have experienced pain peeing on occasion. I bought these on recommendation and they are FANTASTIC! They worked right after the first dose. I have to say they DO turn your pee a bright red or orange colour, which is kind of horrifying to see, but they WORK. I am off to get checked over in case of infection (these are not a UTI cure, they are just to get rid of the pain), but actually my bladder seems to have calmed down now and the pain has gone even though I have stopped taking them. (You are only supposed to use them for two days maximum). So I think it was probably just healing pains, but whatever the cause, these tablets stopped it and I am VERY happy!

I bought this as I was unable to get to my GP and was in considerable discomfort. Unfortunately, I found these to be of little relief for the UTI pain.If, however, you want a product that turns your urine into something akin to tomato soup and causes you to spend a week scrubbing the orange stains out of anything, and everything, it comes into contact with then these will do the job perfectly.Unless you are desperate, don’t invest in these. They won’t cure the infection and, in my case, gave little pain relief.See a doctor and get proper antibiotics to cure the cause not fight the symptoms. .

Persistent discomfort but GP cd not find any infection, ordered these for £12.89 for 30 arrived promptly today, took 2 3 times as per instructions, relief was not immediate but big improvement after 2nd dose.. the dark orange staining is incredible and does stain.. I checked same product same supplier today and the price had increased to £24.49!! Reading other reviews not sure if you need 2 3 x per day.

If you suffer with repeated UTI’s cystitis etc, this is a lifesaver. I seem to be on antibiotics more than off, but these pills are a massive help.I find when I get the first warning of sharp pain when passing urine, two of these clear the pain and discomfort within about half an hour. I then take them for the rest of the day as prescribed, and am well on the way to recovery.I’ve used these, and also the extra strong, but aside from the price, I didn’t see much difference.I keep these in my medicine cupboard at all times - ordering in a new pack when I’m half through the current one.Word of warning - these things STAIN !Don’t wear light coloured clothes, sheets etc, and keep lots of bleach in the bathroom, as it will look like a crime scene. That downside, however, is totally compensated for by how well they work !
