Technical details say it's 182.9 cm high, but in the description from the manufacturer it says 152.4 cm. Which one is the actual height?

Hi I've bought five of these for holiday let laundry rooms, they are great and measure 182.9cm. Hope this helps

Can additional shelves be purchased?

I suppose so but would be another complete unit and you only use parts of it. Be careful how high you go as you may overload the legs at base.

Could one shelf be left off to make a two tier unit?

Yes. I love these shelves - as you can position the shelves on whatever height setting you desire (using the notches and plastic collars. I personally make sure I have a shelf at the highest setting, and the vary the height of the other shelf/ves to suit my requirement. Amazing strong build quality and easily assembled in a couple minutes without needing any tools. Based on the professional Catering industry shelving design which I am a custom to at work. I love this shelf so much I have many! They also do a light load baring shelf that has coaster wheels which is awesome too - if you need to move the shelf. Only downside is the dimensions are different for the model with wheels compared to the shelf with just adjustable feet.

How much can you adjust the feet by? I want to use in my kitchen but have a slight step on one side (about 8cm).

If you want to be a bit smart about it, you could deliberately mismatch the height of the shelf brackets on each side (which would normally make the shelf a slope), but keep the shelves level, so that the poles actually sit higher on one side to match your step. Between the shelf adjustments and the feet adjustments, I'm sure you could make that work. The only thing is that you'd end up with higher poles sticking out the top of the unit, above the step. A hacksaw and a file would fix that too, though.
