Each SBrick Plus can connect to 4 sensors/motors/lights and can be controlled using our free app. You can use 7 different sensors and up to 16 bricks with each app and with a little coding get them to work together. It's a powerful and interactive tool that can teach coding and make it satisfying and fun. Connect Compatible with LEGO Power Functions motors and lights, WeDo and NXT/EV3 family of sensors and motors. Code Works with Scratch, Apple Swift and Javascript out-of-the-box. Our open source communication API lets you program SBrick Plus in any language. Create Works with LEGO Education, Technic and will slot easily into almost any LEGO set. How did you come up with the idea for this product? We set out from the start to create a tool that makes learning programming more fun and teaching it more effective. We spoke with teachers to learn what they needed before we created SBrick Plus, a smart brick that provides continuity in the classroom. Accessible enough for beginners, powerful enough for experts, it is designed to be as compatible as possible to make teaching and learning better. What makes your product special? Compatibility sets us apart from everyone else. SBrick Plus works with many programming languages and more sensors, motors and lights than anything else. We strive for SBrick Plus to work with as many things as possible. Pick the coding language that suits you and build with the bricks and sensors you want, and SBrick Plus makes it possible. What has been the best part of your startup experience? We started out by creating SBrick for gamers, but had always wanted to create something for education, because we felt that the tools available to date weren't good enough. We listened to what teachers had to say and designed SBrick Plus to not only match by exceed their needs. This was our second crowdfunding campaign and the feedback we've received has been amazing.
