Into the Grizzly Maze AKA Red Machine
I quite enjoyed this movie as it was full of suspense & Grizzly Bear attacks!A giant Grizzly is not happy when poachers kill lots of its kind & it goes on a killing spree in the woods. As the body count increases, the local Sheriff (Thomas Jane) goes a hunting, along with his convict brother, his wife & brothers old girlfriend. It soon turns into a race for survival as this bear is clever!

Watch out for the bear
Best bear one yet, just a bear playing his part very well that I decided to rate this an A grade for him. Yes suspense is there with all the trimmings attached as well, If people didn't make all the mistakes in the first place junior here wouldn't have to use his energy catching them so parts can go flying everywhere. This little bear has a few tricks up his sleeve to keep us entertained throughout the show the actors were great but I am a animal lover so he was mentioned first okay, story is good. If looking for a fantastic first class show than this isn't it, A good stand in if nothing better on the television so pick up the munchies and drinks settle in with a marvellous movie, how bears kill humans for trespassing on his property. Enjoy!

Grizzly tale of vengeance
When recent parolee Rowan decides to head into the Grizzly Maze, an almost sacred place to his family, little does he know he’ll have to make up with his estranged cop brother Beckett, and die-hard animal tracker Douglass, to have a chance of survival against a relentless killer bear.Set in Alaska, filmed in Canada, everyone who doesn’t die gets pretty horrifically injured. Although it’s better than Grizzly (1976), it suffers from the same problem - an anthropomorphised bear. I have no issue with the idea of a bear hunting people. I don’t think he's doing it out of vengeance so much as - the people are in the way because they’re hunting him.

Good cast, ordinary movie
I was expecting a lot from this film, with some well known actors and the prospect of beautiful scenery with a few predatory grizzly bears thrown in to provide the suspense and horror elements. But unfortunately it all started to unravel right from the start. This movie smells of a made-for-TV sci-fi movie - a story of two brothers; one the sheriff's deputy and the other the misunderstood bad boy who has been to prison and come home. And with a sugary sweet contrived making up between them in the end. There are other characters but they seem to be there just to support the two brothers' story. Billy Bob Thornton does get a couple of moments but he's wasted here. Unfortunately the tension is never allowed to build properly as the bears and their victims are seldom seen in the same shot. You see a bear, then you see a person running, then you see a bear again. This is because (commendably) the filmmakers have used a real bear in the production. But you don't get a sense of danger because you don't know how close the bear really is. And when the bear does finally catch up a CGI bear is substituted, but to generally good effect. And although there was potential for forest scenery, much of the film is shot in the dark or near dark. All a bit of a disappointment really.

Wilderness safety 101. Don't make the bear angry by being really stupid.
Maybe they should have called this film "10 great ways to p*** off a really angry bear." Or, "Make sure you know how to shoot straight if you own a firearm and go into the woods." Or possibly "Wow are bears really that hungry?" Anyways, it's a watch-able film if you got something else you can be doing at the same time like reading a book on bear attacks, precision rifle shooting or simply going to the mall instead. It's not a bad film by any means; it's just not very good.

Watchable, but not very believable.
So, in this beautiful Alaskan area, which is quite rightly inhabited by Grizzly bears - it's their natural environment, there is apparently a huge rogue bear. He has to be killed; I would have thought a massive team of professionals would be involved but no, just five people. Two estranged brothers, the wife of one of them, a deaf-mute conservationist. Another woman who is a doctor, and a hunter played by Billy-bob Thornton. Lots of tense scenes, plenty of blood and gore but the whole story is unrealistic. When one of the women suffers a terrible injury she doesn't seem to be in much pain which is ridiculous and still manages after a day and night to have her lipstick in place!!Quite honestly, people strolling around in bear country deserve to be attacked. Mother bears are protecting their cubs and they have a right to. Some humans (like hunters) seem to think they have the right to be in any area they choose, but they don't.The most repetitive unnecessary phrase used in movies like this has got to be " we gotta get out of here ". No s**t Sherlock! 🙄
