first used one at the work shop and love it . so i got me so for my shop and love them

At first I thought they were a little bit expensive because I was so used to those garbage fiberglass wheels exploding on me after I got a quarter inch into a piece of pipe. Once I used this though, before the first cut was done I already knew how great these were going to be. First of all, they don't spark half as much as the fiberglass ones. Don't know why that is but kinda nice.Another reason they are great is because they last forever. I put one on and even if I had used the fiberglass wheels down to the nub without having them explode, which would be quite impressive, I would have used 15 of them at the bare minimum to cut what one of these cut up. They don't explode, all they do is get dull and you can notice they take a while to cut stuff and it gets hotter. Thats when you replace it. I'll take that over having hot shrapnel whipped at my face any day!

Needed to replace leaf springs on my RV. At first I unscrewed the nuts that were rusted on after 11 years with a long breaker bar. I then employed my electric drill to cut the 4 - 1/2" bolts with the cutoff wheel. Even at the relatively slow speed of the drill I cut most of the way through each bolt and easily twisted them off. Twenty minutes max for all 4. Finished up the other 8 with with the same wheel and still usable. Being a metal disk is an advantage in my pinion over the "fiber" wheels in a tight space where the disk may be subject to being twisted. I didn't want any pieces of the disk flying in my face.

good for cutting everything

These are the OA-BRES metal/stainless cutting 4.5” x .05” x 7/8” – 155 x 1 .2 x 22.23mm 5000+ cut, 3 pack disks. I was excited when these came but while checking them out I became less excited. On thin metal they cut fairly quick but were very loud, vibrated the metal unless it was held down right at the cutting edge, and left some what a rough edge. On ¼” angle iron, it was also fairly loud (not as loud as the thin metal), and it seemed to take for ever to get through it, but the edge wasn’t rough as the thin metal. I didn’t even try it on any hard stainless or anything else. They did do the job but not like I’m used to. For most people I’m sure these will be fine. I’m just a little picky.4 stars all the way!

Son muy buenos discos de corte ,tienen bastante durabilidad, lo único malo es que si los quieres para corte rápido no te funcionarán ya que este tipo de disco es para corte lento ,el cabado que dejan es bastante regular por lo menos si lo usas con esmeril

Please don't waste your money on these. They are definitely not worth the price tag! If they were like no more then 5.00ea maybe? They don't last long at all! I'm not sure how they come up with 5000+ cuts!? I am lucky if I got 25 cuts combined on all three blades! They become dull very fast, takes much longer to cut through larger bolts, 1/2" etc. I do truck and trailer repair for a living. I use my cut off disc's a lot, and the "only" benefit to traditional disc's is it's a metal blade and they don't break off mishandling them!
