Is transmax a new name for syntrax? is it the same oil? is it compatible with syntrax?

It’s many years since I used Castrols syntrax oil. I used it in my BMW E30 which had a limited slip differential in the rear axel. This is what it is predominately used for. Still available. Transmax appears to be auto gearbox oil/ power steering oil. I would confirm with your main dealer for safety.

Can I use it in my 2006 xj6 sovereign

I don't know ..... but the easiest way to find out is to go onto the online shopping for a car parts supplier such as Eurocarparts or GSF Car parts .... put in your registration number ..... confirm the vehicle matches your car details. Then look for Differential Oil under 'oils & lubricants' and it will tell you what specification/s is/are correct for your car. Or ..... If you have a Haines Manual for your vehicle, it will tell you all that sort of information somewhere on the first few pages.

Does this need to have any other stuff added in jeep gc quadra drive 2?

This is a quality product for limited slip differentials so I would assume it would be fine BUT, please confirm with with a Jeep dealer/rep. (they would probably recommend their own brand of course).
