Strong smell
Brought as a precaution for the hen houses

Like product but not container
Product had leaked slightly because design of container meant top not fitted tightly enough so came dislodged during transit so some loose powder in packaging. Container is cardboard and it had been bashed in transit. Would suggest Manufacturers look at better top stopper. I could not replace the pull back film over “sprinkle holes” on the top of container so concerned powder would get damp and clog over period of time. Container is also very stout and I found it difficult to hold in one hand to sprinkle in chicken house. Powder looks very much like others I have used so hopefully will be as good.

mite powder
smells lovely not a bit chemically, I use it once a week on the bedding in my chicken coop and dust hens monthly, and the coop has a full dusting twice yearly, in the year I have had them not one mite! just reordered for the 4th time as I'm getting low, lasts ages

Adequate
It helps reduce red mite, but not as effective as other products

Noticed improvement.
Good powder with a pleasant scent. I have noticed an improvement with the hard to get rid of red mite.

Not cheap, but works well.
I suppose if you've only got 2-3 chooks then it works out as good value, but it doesn't go far on my flock of 10. Having said that, it does work pretty well to keep the pesky red mite at bay.

(Rather like applying anti-flea drops to cats). Work up the body from the tail, just pushing up a row of feathers and powdering. Don't forget to lift up each wing and put powder there by hand though, as well as on top of wing. When you release her, hen will shake some of the powder off but what remains should be effective. Don't forget to treat the chicken house. Throw out all straw, brush or vacuum out dust & debris, wash down with bleached hot water, air all day, when dry sprinkle Diatomaceous Earth in hen house, esp. corners."}},{"@type":"Question","name":"How many birds will 500g treat?","acceptedAnswer":{"@type":"Answer","text":"I have 5 birds you only need to dust them once a month use enough to be able to dust their feathers and under their wings use sparingly Iv"}}]}]}
