Caldex Bottle Cover for Classic Bunny Bottle, 320 cc

I bought this cover primarily to keep algae from growing in my water bottle rather than the usual freezing prevention (as my cages come inside in winter). The cover almost covers the whole bottle, but there are a couple of millimetres left exposed at the bottom, so a little bit of algae still appears. I love the metal water bottle holder that came with it, which I wasn’t expecting. Obviously you have to remove the cover to check whether there is any water left in the bottle, rather than relying on a visual check, but water should be changed frequently anyway, so this should not be a problem.

Bought this after finding ice in the rabbits water bottle one cold morning. Wasn't sure it would help but am very pleased and the rabbits approve. One of the rabbits has nibbled the edge a bit but not effected it s purpose. Price was OK so all in all happy rabbits, happy me.

Fits well. Easy to get on and off. Good quality material.

Could do with being slightly longer. I do like the stretchy clip attachment it comes with though!

The water didn’t freeze but the rabbit just ate the cover

I use this to stop my outdoor ferrets water bottle from freezing up. So far its worked well this winter.
