Exceptionally good value for a top quality product. Installed on a yacht. Very efficient in operation and has a very low idle current allowing it to be left switched on while we are on board for the convenience of an AC supply immediately available. Runs everything from a WiFi router to a two ring electric hob and oven. Modern "low energy" florescent light bulbs and strips run with no problems. (old fashioned tubes with starter relays are supposed to be a problem but we do not have any of them).It does not have a remote on/off but this is not an issue as the idle current is so low. The onboard batteries with wind generator do not seem to notice.

The build quality could be better, but the ac outlets are solid, better tgan chinese models, it's easy to use, i ran a washing machine and a dryer full cycle, without over heating the dryer was on for 20 minutes yes I'm happy there's a a lot of false claims regarding these inverters, I should know, I have tested quite a few, this is the best one for the price it can definitely be used for off grid uses, I'm considering buying another one, to charge my ev, my only complaint is there's no led display showing voltage and current or power output on the device yes its cheap but I would pay an extra £20.00 for this extra, I'll.rate it 8 out of 10

I use this to run a 2KW fan heater, a 2KW Kettle and a 700W microwave with a 1200W input (obviously not at the same time). It does all of these easily, all you hear is the fan come on when drawing a large load. It has made working from a van outside in the cold a lot more comfortable. Just remember to keep your engine on if running this for more than a few minutes, as at full power it is drawing 200 amps. 2KW is the level of power that will allow just about any electrical device to be used within reason. For me this was one of those things that I could not decide whether I would use or not, and now would not want to live without. Defrosted the windscreen on my van, and had the interior hot within a couple of minutes when we had the first frost of the year a couple of days ago. Highly recommended.

Not long had this unit, but very satisfied so far. I have a river cruiser on a mooring that has no power outlet. I need to power wash the decking and boat. I looked at buying a generator, reading small orint many can't handle the current surge of start up and noisy. I looked at petrol driven power washerss, already owning a well known make that can work of a rain butt, which cheaper washers don't it was going to be an expensive heavy one trick pony.I've tried this unit on a jig saw and sewing machine (we have to repair out boat cover seems) and works fine.I see people have bought heavier leeds, it comes with 2 sets of short leads, this is for using two batteries. Longer leads would require to be thicker leads due to voltage drop, add to price (and would be combersome if only short leads are needed).If using one large marine battery you could attach both sets to effectively double the thickness and so the current handling. just be careful not to touch exposed clips together red ti black, suggest add the red leads first, then the black leads.One reviewer complains bitterly it would not charge his batteries and cost him in fuel for his genorator, it is not designed to charge batteries, it is a voltage 'step up' unit designed only to increase from 12 volts DC upto 230 volts AC.FROM a DC battery supply.I had no problem inserting plugs into the two sockest on the unit with ease. Suggest if you buy decent quality plugs (not the 4 for a £1 deals), given the low cost against ither options for my needs, the versatility offered makes it a real bargain.This review is as a completely independent costumerI have no connection with or financial gain to be made with or from BESTEK.

Was not what I expected. It takes 20 minutes to heat a cup of water in the 750 microwave. However the delivery was very quick and the product was well wrapped.

I purchased this unit as the inverter for an off-grid back up power supply. It is a good product and well built, but be aware that this produces a modified sine wave. It works fine running light bulbs and basic electrical equipment, but it could not operate either a 140W LED TV or a 200W plasma TV. Low wattage LED lights do not function properly either - they tend to flicker. Other electronic products were very hit and miss as well. Some just buzzed loudly. Despite the sales blurb, be wary if you want it to run a TV or anything with electronics involved. What you need for those is a pure sine wave inverter. It was ok for charging my iPhone though when connected directly into the cigar lighter on my car.I have now purchased an inverter that puts out a pure sine wave and everything works perfectly. A pure sine wave more closely represents the utility supplier whereas a modified sine wave does not. Clearly these electronic products need a pure sine wave. You will also find that some electrical items will buzz with the modified sine wave, especially those with a motor like fans etc. Not sure if this would operate a microwave, I never got around to trying it.As I say, I was impressed with the unit, instructions leave a little to be desired, but it just simply could not do what I wanted it to do. If you only have basic electrical items that you want to power up, you should be fine. If you have computers, LED or Plasma TV's or anything like that, you need to be looking for a pure sine wave output inverter.I hope this helps you to not repeat the mistake I made.

Gerät funktioniert gut, auch längere Belastung mit 1800W ergab keine Probleme. Ab 2100 Watt Belastung tritt eine Schutzschaltung in Kraft (schaltet das Gerät in ca.1sec-Intervall ein und aus).Einziger Kritikpunkt: Die Sicherungen an der Primär-Seite sind fix eingelötet - ein Austausch daher fast nicht möglich.

fait tourner mon décapeur thermique, une pompe de piscine, mon chauffage électrique d'appoint 2Kw... Se coupe tout seul avant que les batteries baissent trop. Ventile peu, et pas du tout quand il a coupé faute de jus (ce que ne font pas les fourbis à 40 Euros qui continuent à ventiler et épuisent la batterie). Quoi dire? que ça marche, pour mes 4 batteries alimentées par mes panneaux orientables. que c'est triste qu'en France on ne sache plus faire ce genre de matériel, bien fini, à ces prix. Un seul défaut: prises US nécessitant un raccord. Pour le "pure sinus" je sais pas, mais les ampoules de la maison à LED ne claquent pas.Petit détail technique sur certains commentaires de gens déçus: Une batterie de 100 Ampères sous 12 volts ne pourra pas sortir plus de 1200 watts (P=UI). L'appareil ne peut rendre que ce qu'il reçoit, soit dans ce cas 1200 W et non pas 2000 à 4700 en crête comme il est conçu.Il ne sortira que 2500 W mais avec 2 batteries en parallèle, et pour sortir la puissance de 4700 w en crête pour lancer un gros moteur, des batteries il en faut quatre. C'est basique, mais toujours le coup du petit tuyau sur un gros robinet !Ou pour continuer dans les comparaisons, mettez 3 piles plates de lampe de poche en série, il sort 13,7 volts. Mettez ce convertisseur au bout, et imaginez démarrer une pompe de piscine....
