George Foreman Small Grill 23400

This is a very useful, compact, easy to clean, simple to use product. Heats quickly, cooks evenly, wipes clean and is a well designed piece of kitchen equipment taking up little space. Amazing value at £15 and very portable, so great for students, camping etc.

It was my 1st time with an item like this. So I bought this one, due to price and versatility. let me share my thoughts:- Packaging - all ok with the delivery- Recipe book included- it's ok for 1 person. If you need to cook more, it can't be done in just once.- it cooks really fast! I love grilled steaks (beef, chicken, lamb, turkey, duck breast), sausages - it cooks them really fast, really well, and with a wonderful fat reduction!- it is great to cook since toasts, to meat, to vegetables- when I was in my decision process, I was considering this one or the one with the removable plates. So, the only little downsize it's cleaning. I use a kitchen towel and on a weekly basis, some washing up liquid as well. It's ok, but probably next time I'll bought the one with removable plates. However, as it was my 1st time in acquiring this kind of product / brand I didn't really want to spend a lot of money.- the best thing to do: clean it right after using it. It totally agiles everything.- I use it as a toaster as well, so just a bread slice in it! It soo fast!- the little "drawer" that all the fatty liquids go when grilling it's amazing!! We remove it, put in the dishwasher and ready to use for the next round! That's the most amazing part of it!If you are looking for something really affordable and are ok with the cleaning part, this is perfect. The size will depend on the size of your family/ people in your household.

In my opinion this grill is the best on Amazon that you can buy.Before you turn on this product for the first time wipe it down with a damp cloth or paper towel and then leave it turned on for a few minutes with nothing inside it. There will be a burning plastic type smell as it burns off whatever chemicals etc that where used in making the grill. This is normal and will only happen on first use.I've owned this grill for a month now and really enjoy using it to cook burgers, potato waffles and even grilled toast. All the excess fat when cooking food like burgers drips down into the fat tray which conveniently slides out for cleaning. The 'floating hinge' is also a really nice feature that allows thicker foods to be covered by both the bottom and top grill.The grill top is a modest size but I feel like it could be slightly bigger. I also did notice that foods to the left of my grill cooked ever so slightly faster than foods to the right. There are also loud ticking and popping noises that I believe to be some sort of thermostat inside, so keep in mind it is not quiet.Overall I really recommend this to anyone looking for a cheap grill that will cook a wide variety of foods and is extremely easy to clean.

Use to grill salmon for the best fish you’ve ever had! Crisp on the outside while perfectly flaky and moist within. Also use it for bacon (any kind of meat really) and even though it removes a lot of fat it still seems tender and juicier than when I cook it in the oven. I also use this to make some excellent toasted sandwiches. It is hard to clean, the trick is to rest it on the edge of the sink and clean the bottom half with a damp sponge, then turn it over to do the top grill so the water drains back into the sink and doesn’t ruin the electrics. The larger grills with the removable grills are better for cleaning, but this is ideal for one person

I love my George! I don’t need to use the grill on my cooker anymore, it’s perfect for small kitchens and it is a good bbq replacement too for those without a garden. This is my first George which I got during lockdown. I use it for a lot of cooking and it cooks really fast which is more energy efficient, so a win win. I really like the floating hinge for when I cook thick (ish) homemade burgers, steaks, salmon and toasted sandwiches. It’s small but enough for two portions. I paid £16 ... bargain!!!

Just the right size for a single person. Chose it as fed up with having to use a small inbuilt oven as a grill all the time. Excellent results and versatile - good design and takes up little space - cleans up well and can be plugged in anywhere - not necessarily in the kitchen - make sure to lift the top half from the front only - not the sides.

This is a brilliant little grill and I loved it for the time it lasted. My stupid dogs got up on the counter and knocked it off, so it smashed into a few pieces....and now doesn't work.I think I'll be buying the next size up come payday when I replace it, but at the moment, it gets a 5 out of 5.The "Features" section gives a Temperature Control option, which only gets a 3 out of 5 because there is only 1 temperature setting (On). But the temperature it gets to is perfect for all grilling, so no need to add to that. But because the temperature cannot be adjusted it only gets 3*.

Nowhere near the quality of my previous George Foreman grills but that is reflected in the price I paid. I did bacon as the first thing to cook on it and that was a nightmare to clean off - would have been much easier in my normal non stick frypan. Grill plates smaller even than I had imagined too - I just cook for 1 and sometimes 2 . It is neat and doesn't take up a lot of room but I can't see me keeping it for very long and on the whole it would have been better for me to have bought the same size I have had in the past.
