There is so much white noise when it records that makes it a pain in your ears. Purchased another microphone slightly more expensive and there is no white noise at all. Doesn't worth the 6 pounds.

Used to a laptop with built-in mic. This was a useful addition to a new PC. I use it for Text-to-speech writing and Zoom. Works fine (within the limits of text-to-speech software).Pros: small and compact and sufficiently sensitive (good detection at 1 meter)Cons: Uses one of the limited USB ports.Good buy - very pleased.

ok ! out of the box , plugged in works immediately, Cortana finally works, google speech works WOW ! looking at the reviews , if you get one of these and it doesn't preform send it back and try a different one , the one I got is amazing

This product was cheap. And in a pinch realizing that my laptop didn't have a functioning microphone I thought that this would be a good stop gap.I was however, quite wrong, this product is cheap for a reason, unless the mic is right next to your mouth you can't hear what is being said, this would be forgivable if the device did not sit right in the USB slot so you would have to bend down to the laptop whenever you need to to talk. Its not ideal at all in meetings or to record any voice you have to lean down.Really would not recommend this unless you have a long USB extension and want to hold it all the time.

Bought this for use with my Raspberry Pi "AlexaPi" project.The microphone is recognised but sound does not get picked up clearly.Tried the microphone on my windows machine and it is very weak; picks up the minimum amount of sound and you have to actually be over the mic for it to pick up what you are saying.Personally would not recommend device from this seller. Will try from another as I have seen these working in youtube videos.

Users can hear me on Teams with the Mic about 1m away, although it's quite quiet.

Works ok, but you have to be very close (50cm) for it to work 100%.

Does what it says on the tin.
