O'NEALSierra Helmet, Gray/Black/Red XL

Very happy with this O’Neal helmet and Is my first. Love the looks and the fit is great. I will say I typically wear large but usually takes a very long time to break in and fit. This time I ordered XL and feels snug but not overly. Very comfortable out of the box.

This is a great helmet, but the moto style peak catches too much wind and caused me terrible neck strain. Not really the helmets fault, but beware if you have neck problems.

I've always worn full face but I have always wanted a dual sport helmet for sport touring. This one was my first purchase and it is splendid! I absolutely love the drop-down visor, it is super lightweight- I hardly even know it's there while riding. I love the angular design. Well done! My only drawback is the wind can catch on the visor at higher speeds and it is a bit noisy but that's going to be obvious when using this type of helmet compared to a silky smooth full face design. Back roads and around town this helmet is absolutely perfect. I purchased a previously owned one (not worn) and paid just over one hundred dollars. Very happy with it!

According to the sizing chart, I'm a medium. I ordered the XL. The XL really fit my head which is more of a round shape more than it is oval. Some of the other helmets I tried on at cycle gear simply were too oval and put super pressure on my temples no matter what size even into the XXL. Í do recommend this helmet for a rounder shape head for the value. Totally. Wore this during my MSF Rider coarse and have been using it for about 50 miles maybe. Good for a rounder shape head or "Asian Fit". It is a dual sport helmet. The shade that comes down is a good tint...not too dark and does not hit on my nose which the Sedici did. This helmet came in a beat up box with no other things like booklets in the box...and no packing.
