Giro Seasonal Merino Wool Cycling Socks - Men's

One of the few winter cycling socks to be knee high
* I read through some other reviews after leaving mine and I absolutely don't mean to offend anyone, but I have no idea what any of them are talking about because their reviews don't match my reality with these. Yes, these are a lighter weight wool sock, which they are marketed as. However, the toe box is most certainly not too thin. I'm also lost on how anyone had holes in the toe box after two months of use. I have every color of these and have put them through varied types of riding and conditions and none of them have holes. Finally, these are not at all narrow, they simply offer a nice compressed fit, which is a good thing. I have wide feet and very large calves and I have absolutely no trouble getting these on. Please see my photos both on and off as well as two different colors, to observe the build of these. Again, no disrespect, but those other reviews don't at all reflect my experience. Perhaps, they received their socks from a bad batch.Winter cycling socks are really frustrating for many of us who don't put up their bikes for the winter. Very few winter cycling socks go above mid calf at the very most and typically are even lower than that. In addition, winter socks from companies like Castelli and Assos are often nearly $30 a pair and even more for their wind stopper options. Now, I love me some Castelli and Assos, I mean really love them, but that's one of the few areas where I'm just not feeling their prices, especially when their socks aren't really all that warm anyway. At the same time, if you're anything like me, you're sort of a fashionista with cycling gear so you're not going to rock non cycling specific socks. So what to do, what to do? What you do is you buy at least one pair of these, preferably all the colors, and you call it a day! Here's why:1. These are actually knee high cycling specific socks, which is like finding a unicorn.2. They're made of a wool blend3. They can easily be had for $15-$20 a pair4. They wick very well5. They're in fact warm6. They look really flipping coolSeriously, I own these socks in every color they offer and I'm in the midst of buying a second pair of every color they sell. These socks are essentially the one piece of winter kit that I own that is not Castelli or Assos. Which does slightly pain me, but I justify it in my mind because I own Giro shoes so I'm still running matching kit. First world problems, I know!Anyway, if you happen upon this review, stop looking at other winter socks and just grab these. I promise you, I've tried it all and these are what you want.Cheers!

Warm and comfy!
Perfect for cooler temps. Thin so it fits nicely in my cycling shoes, but nice and warm

Great fit. Great price and cycling specific
Haven’t put any time in on these but out of the box they seem really nice. Just what I was looking for. Very streamline fit and truly over the calf. Seem to also feel a little like a compression sock. Nice thickness but not bulky or Bunche in the toes. They feel like they will be warm also.. just haven’t had a chance to ride with them yet.

Decent cycling socks
Nice socks, pretty warm but thin for cycling shoes. I wear a size 13 so they were kind of tight on me but not uncomfortably so. For the price you get one pair, not sure i would buy another pair but they are nice.

Med weight
Great quality, definitely size medium. I wear 9 to 9.5 shoes and these are plenty snug. Don`t undersize or they will be too tight. Also not a true winter sock- good for rides in the 40s-50s for me.

Good quality, comfortable
Perfect for all-weather cycling. I've worn on warm days and on cold. They keep my feet warm, but not hot, and dry.

caldissimo
Ho trovato questa calza molto calda; peccato sia alta e non ho trovato la corrispondente versione nel corto. Assolutamente da comperare
