1st NOBODY gets 5 stars from me since nothing is perfect, so it gets 4.Excellent value at £6.49.Length is actually 207cm - which is with a few tiny fractions of an inch of the quoted '6.8 feet' - but since the length is also quoted as '2m' or 2 metres, I don't know what device was used to measure the cable when it was made, because 207cm is obviously MORE than 2metres.Not a complaint, just an observation of the 'accuracy' of their product descriptions.Just like the description of the other item I bought ftom UGREEN at the same time, which described 'the ugreen tablet stand' as being adjustable to 'NINE positions at the touch of a button', when no such button exists, AND their description mentions devices 4"-12"" AND 5"-13" being suitable..The stand should be suitable for ANY SMARTPHONE or TABLET (no bigger than about 12"-13" since bigger would likely be far too heavy) that is in its protective case (like ipad smart cases), but SOME cases will be too thick (like the supe protective type used for 'builders' or 'employees at rough work sites'.I would just say this 'inaccuracy' is probably because of possible problems translating chinese into english and poor checking of what they (ugreen) believe to be correct english grammar.As for 'speed of data throughput' with this 'usb 3.0' cable compared to the 'speed of same' from a 'usb 2.0' version, I am unlikely to ever notice any difference since it will be used primarily for connecting to a power socket too far away to only use the 'standard' length lightning charge & sync cable of my iPad Mini & iPhone.Also this type of usb extension cable is waaayyyy better value than an 'extra long' lightning cable that cost me loads more money, could only be used with current ios devices & only lasted 6 months before it stopped working (with ZERO visible damage to it), since 'iOS' then said it was not a recognised compatible accessory (or some similar crap), but it worked ok for the 1st 6 months.The usb 3.0 extension cable can also work with ANY type of 'charge & sync' cable (lightning, mini usb, micro usb, usb type B - printer cable), so long as it has the 'usb male type A' connector on the other end of it.I had no receipt or packging to prove an Apple Store (or 'official apple product reseller') sold to the extra long lightning cable to me, so my money was wasted.A good thing to have (I have three of these bought at different times from different sellers), & used in different rooms at home, AND for travelling.

Works a treat with my Smart Tv. Bought because of a stupid position of the usb port. My Hisense tv has the 2 usb ports in the back and middle of the tv,not a problem when used on a stand,but when the tv is wall mounted,near impossible to easily get to the ports. So fit the extender cable once,and accessibility is sorted.

I had already bought a Ugreen product, in particular a cat.7 lan cable (unavailable in my part), so when I needed a USB 3.0 extension cable (also unavailable in stores) and I saw it on amazon I didn't beat eyelash.It comes in the classic aluminum-like brand envelope inside and white and green with a transparent window on the front. The cable inside is well placed and locked by two retention ties and the cable is great. Well designed, thick and functional.On my pc in particular I have usb 3.0 ports: 2 behind on the motherboard, and two on the case (a well-made coolermaster 690 3). These on the case correctly connected on the motherboard do not work well with a Chinese case for hdd with usb 3.0 socket, often sending it on standby, while the rear ones work very well (probably the voltage sent is lower than normal), while with another hdd, a Maxtor M3 4TB I have no problem. Well with this cable duly connected to the rear ports of the motherboard I have solved all my problems, it is more comfortable and safe to have the hdd directly on the desk and not on the case and I no longer have problems rebooting the hard disk.RecommendedI hope I was helpful
