Optoma DS-9092PWC - 92" Diagonal Pull Down 16:9 Projector screen White

Right first and foremost this item is heavy! Yes it will smell plasticky for a few days, it a big surface area and it is very well packaged. You will need to mount this very securely to your ceiling, i never trust included fixings and ALWAYS buy my own, if this fell on your head it would hurt, a lot!! Fixing is very easy, for me my joists ran in a different direction to the screen, ie, my screen was going to be positioned in front of me, running left to right, the joists were running from the screen towards me over my head. I purchased a substantial piece of timber from my DIY shop (4 inches x 2 inches). I measured where the screen was going to be on the timber (batten), pre-drilled some holes and used bolts at either end that would hold the screen in place. The batten was then fixed to the ceiling, screwed into the joists using long screws, and the screen then offered up to the bolts that i had placed at either end and the nuts screwed in. Im 14 stone and the above held my weight as well as the screen, timber costs were £12, screws £5 and bolts £4, some whilte matt paint finished the job and i know it will stay up there!! It doesnt take long to put up and the screen is lovely, it comes down every time its pulled, its easy to set in the right position, and the screen has a good weight to it so it does not flap around- i would definitely buy again

Perfect size for the size of my projected screen. Quite hard to install on your own and has wrinkled slightly in one corner. That said the quality is superb and my screen image is crisp. Well worth the purchase

Arrived promptly, relatively easy to set up, but given the dimensions, there black suround is surprisingly large giving a smaller useable area than I'd expected

Read some reviews before buying which point out some issues with screen and installation.I have to say we didn’t experience any problems the item is sturdy and a little heavy to lift so two pairs of hands are recommended when installing .We added a baton to the wall for extra security and I would certainly recommend .

Don’t go by the description stating the package is damaged. The product is actually faulty. In fact the seller knew it’s fault and withheld the information. By mistake the seller forgot to take out the return slip from “very dot co dot UK” in which it is clearly mentioned the screen does not stay down and damaged. Don’t be fooled by the description. Now the onus is on me to return, the package is huge, there is no collection and cannot be send by post. In a pickle.

The screen creases around the edges and the metal structure is bent. Very heavy structure as well. Had higher expectations from Optama

Ordered this for use with Optoma HD141x projector. I had planned to suspend this from wall mounted projector screen hooks. The close-up photo in the item listing clearly shows hooks on either end. Unfortunately, the one that was delivered to me did not have these. Luckily I was able to loop a couple of s-hooks through the mounting holes intended for direct to wall/ceiling mounting. The screen itself is fantastic and a good size. The image off the projector is stunning. I do agree with previous reviews regarding the plastic smell but this quickly disappeared after a few hours of use.

Qualität passt, Preis Leistung ist super. Das Gehäuse wie auch die Leinwand machen einen sehr stabilen und wertigen Eindruck, der Geruch ist minimal und verschwand auch sehr schnell. Das Bild ist sehr gut und die Bedienung einfach. Kaufempfehlung

El mecanismo es básico y algo betusto, pero funciona. La calidad del material de la pantalla, básico, pero se ve bién. Por ahora no tiene arrugas molestas, a ver con el tiempo. Por el precio no se puede pedir más.

this review is more about the seller. I guess the screen could be a good midrange screen, but the one that I was sent was seriously faulty. The screen had teared on both sides. A carpenter made some modifications to my roof so I was reluctant to have it sent back for repairs/refund. Offered seller to try and fix it on my own and as compensation they offered me 15% discount, which is just horrible. I'm almost thinking this seller is reselling warranty items or something. I'm pretty sure their customer service is just AI also, and it takes forever to get them to reply. I did repair the screen, but it's not as good as if new and it's about as bad as the screen I replaced it with...
