Are eyelet sizes universal? So can this work with any eyelet brand or does one have to by the We R Memory Keepers brand?

Yes, you can use other brand eyelets but I tried this and found them to be of inferior quality and the finish on the back was jagged. I prefer to use the Memory Keeper ones.

Will the cropadile work on snap fasteners for clothes? I have one and love it, but would like to try making baby bibs, which are slightly different .

Yes i think it will, depending on what fasteners you want to use. There are lots of videos on the internet that show you how.

Can I punch holes in 2 layers of fabric with this, and is the eyelets suitable for fabric

if it can punch through CDs and chipboard and goes through mountboard like butter as I have, so it should go through 2 layers of fabric easily, but I haven't tried it
