Overboard Universal Waterproof Tablet Case for iPad Air/Air 2, iPad 2/3/4, iPad Pro, Tab S3 9.7, Tab S2 9.7, Tab A 9.7, Tab E 9.6 and Other Tablets up to 10 Inch

I needed a waterproof case for my iPad 2 because I wanted to use it in the bath. I initially bought a  Tunewear Waterwear Water-Resistant Case for iPad 2/iPad/Samsung Galaxy Tab/Amazon Kindle/Tablet PC with Strap  that proved way too large and cumbersome, so I returned it.With more research I ordered this case and have been delighted with it over the 9 months that I've had it. In terms of size, the iPad fits inside the case perfectly - there's no need for spacers and you don't need to fold the case.Getting the iPad into the case and sealing it is very quick and effective. The case uses a simple mechanism where you pull 4 plastic tabs to create the seal and it takes only a few seconds and you're ready to go.You can of course use your fingers to interact with the iPad through the front clear plastic. You do get more friction than you would on the clear glass of the iPad but I haven't found this to be a problem myself. The buttons on the side and top of the iPad, such as the volume button, aren't easy to get to, but you can get to them with a bit of manipulation.The soft plastic that the case is made of feels like it can take some punishment and you'd have to work very hard to penetrate it and cause a hole. Also the back of the case has a sleeve to help you hold it more securely.Most importantly, the case does keep your iPad waterproof. I don't go out of my way to immerse the iPad into the water, but a couple of accidents have been averted through using the case.I have no hesitation in recommending this case for anyone who wants to use their iPad in and around water. For me, the OverBoard case ticks all the important boxes, and while it isn't cheap it's certainly been worth every penny to me.

I have only just bought this case for my Galaxy S2 9.7", which I want to use outdoors with the Ordnance Survey Map App.It is really too early to review this product in full bur it seems well made, is not cumbersome to carry, (with the very nice shoulder strap), and the touchscreen still works well. My only criticism, at this stage, would be that for robust outdoor use there is not enough corner protection or padding. Having said that, if it proves to be totally waterproof and floats, it will serve me very well. Good price, very fast efficient delivery!!

I bought this case for the missus, who likes to watch her iPad3 while relaxing in the bath. Having a 5 year-old daughter, I had visions of disaster when the balanced arrangement of iPad leaning against toiletries while stood atop the washing basket all went tumbling towards the soapy depths below....Thankfully, this case means that should that ever happen, we won't have ruined our iPad. The case feels well built and tidily designed, and the large sturdy clips at the seam make it easy to seal, as well as providing a visual indicator that the bag is sealed (perhaps in a future version they could make it even more obvious with colours or something).Aside from the initial test, I don't envision that we'll deliberately submerge it per se, but what it does do for me is really enables the device when in bad weather or in a splash zone. Most importantly for us, when we next go on holiday, we'll be able to take the iPad along with us without worrying about splashes by the poolside - which was the singular reason we left it behind last year.I'm now considering buying the iPhone/iPod version because I know it would get used.

The first one I got leaked from the right hand bottom corner. After exchanging it for a replacement I got slightly different waterproof case with additional seal around the bottom corners. However, this time, there was a crack on the side where water would get into the soft padding. Decided to return it and got a refund. Highly disappointed.

I purchased the OverBoard Waterproof Case For iPad And iPad 2 (ASIN:B004TG67YY]for use on our family holiday. When the case arrived I followed the instructions and the leak test passed and then off on holiday.The best words to use for my review of the product are fiddly and annoying.The case is not a made to measure fit and the iPad moves around inside the case resulting in the camera lens not being in line with the view finder on the case. You have to fiddle with the iPad through the case to make sure the lens and view finder are in line before taking the photo.In bright, sunny weather you cannot see the screen of the iPad through the case which makes it annoying to use when on holiday in a bright and sunny country.Hopefully on a future model, the plastic will be anti glare and the view finder larger to allow for the movement of the iPad inside the case.All in all it's ok.

Bought this for an Ipad Air 1 to use at sea for navigation. It is waterproof and easily fits the Ipad Air 1. It's a better fit with the Ipad leather case kept on. The cover has to be opened to operate the on/off or other buttons. The touch screen works well through the case. As with all these cases the case can create some glare in strong sunlight. Because the back of the case is not rigid I will have to make something to slide into the hand strap so I can then attach it to something on the boat. This is a cheap way of waterproofing the Ipad but don't pay more than £25 because it's simply not worth more than that.

I wanted to get a waterproof case for my ipad, on a recent cruise in the Caribbean I used it around the pool which was idea. I even threw it in pool and it submerged (you should of seen the looks around the pool) was able to play games on it too lovely to be in pool reading etc. Works perfectly sometimes the tabs at top are hard to close etc but it provides a secure clip which is whats needed.Going on a beach holiday shortly and will defo be bringing it with me.

Got this beauty on Friday,Its had an hour underwater to make sure it did not leak and it proved itself worthy to holy my iPad.Since then I have had it in the Spa 3 times and it has been perfect!the hand loop at the back is a welcome change from holding the iPad from the side or bottom as I always had to with the old cover.The material the cover is made from also works very well with touch and I don't notice a massive difference while playing games or scrolling socials.100% recommend

This case is fabulous. We have a pool with outdoor entertainment and speakers that are controlled by our ipad. We have been looking for something like this for a long time. This case is great because you can sit in the pool or spa and control the music or just play without worrying about getting the ipad wet. It floats and ours has been fully submerged without any difficulty. The top has these special closures that don't allow the water to penetrate. It actually works really well. We have an 8 year old who also plays with it in the pool and it is still holding up well. I was a little hesitant the first time we used this case, but now after many uses I am now confident with its seal. It is a great product and I would definitely recommend it. I also bought the water proof case for the iphone. I hope it works as well.

Fits perfectly, as described, we use on the boat as I’m clumsy and drop things all the time :)
