Good brand. Works well. Not cheap

A few days ago I was eating dinner when suddenly it was as though my throat had closed and I had acute pain in my chest. I had a bit of a panic, but Google seemed to think it was acid reflux. It was late at night, no shops were open, but fortunately my elderly neighbour doesn’t go to bed until late and to my relief he had some Gaviscon. I couldn’t believe how quickly it worked and it completely took away the pain and discomfort. Obviously, I ordered a bottle from Amazon, which with Prime arrived less than 24 hours later. I got the double action as having read all the information available, it was clear this version would be best. It apparently neutralises the stomach acid and creates a protective layer so it can’t head up into my throat. Needless to say I won’t be without it, now. I can’t recommend it highly enough. A star lost for the price.

it's gaviscon, expensive but does the job well

I've gone through most of the products including nexium. The way I do it now, apple cider vinegar by the teaspoon, if that doesn't work then in this order: gaviscon tablet, gabiscon liquid (but it bungs you up for 2 days), nexium if it's really bad. The liquid does work and it tastes fine, my grandad used it for years. But it does definitely dry out your bowels and create an uncomfortable experience. I wouldn't recommend using it for 2 days, hence the nexium suggestion as that doesn't have that side effect but it does cause me to have headaches. And so the circle begins again lol. If you're using nexium and having headaches then please try apple cider vinegar (with Mother, which means it's cloudy) because it does work to an extent without any side affects appart from tasting absolutely awful.
