Totally delicious, more than just a peppercorn.
So delicious! I used this pepper in my seeded mash on Christmas Day and I’ve never seen a bowl of swede disappear so quickly. The peppercorns smell sort of buttery and sweet, sort of like hot buttered corn and they have an all-spice sort of taste to them. When you grind them in a pestle and mortar you are left with bits of ‘core’ from the berries which don’t eat well so I just passed it through a sieve to remove them.
