Memory Foam, Medium, Travel Pillow

Whilst technically a pillow, I actually purchased this item for my poor bottom after I had to have surgery on one of my bum cheeks after catching it on some barbed wire whilst out walking, and a mere three days before flying off on holiday!That's the embarrassing bit out of the way, so how does it do?Pretty good in fairness.The pillow arrives rolled up in its own little carry bag. It's not small as such, but it can be pressed down into a smaller size if you cram it into a smaller space and so easily fits into any standard hand luggage and weighs very little.As it's made of memory foam, it can be a little tricky getting it in and out of it's bag in light of the fact that it expands once you've shoved it in there. The zip on the bag looks a little fragile, and I'm not sure that it will survive the rigors of squashing the pillow in and out of it in the long term.When you take it out it expands into a pillow about 25cm x 40 cm and about 8cm thick. It's plenty comfortable and molds to the shape of whatever part of your body you want to rest on it - be it your face or your backside - and the pillow cover is removable for ease of cleaning.I don't know whether it represents value for money as there are cheaper products out there, although I cannot attest to their quality. This product however I - and my sore bum - are quite pleased with!

Small lightweight no nonsense pillow for travel. Easy to get back into the bag if you make sure you continually condense the foam fully as you roll it and put it straight into the bag before it starts expanding. Easy to remove from the bag if you carefully roll the bag inside out instead of just trying to pull the pillow out. You could even use it as a support cushion whilst still in the bag. Washable bag and pillow cover for freshness. Fits pefectly into the hood of my sleeping bag, it's a comfortable edition to my camping kit.

I've tried several lightweight inflatable pillows but I simply cannot sleep on them. So I'vee tried this one and it was simply heaven. I know pillows are a matter of personal preference but for me this one is ideal in terms of comfort. It does have a couple of issues though. Firstly, for backpacking, at 438 grams (with cover), it's just too heavy. Of course, it depends on personal priorities but I found a Thermarest pillow at 200 grams adequate and lighter. Still this one is better in terms of comfort. Secondly, there is a minor issue with the pouch - it doesn't seem very durable and you do need it if you want to squeeze into small space. But I consider it minor issue as I would find dry bag of similar size if this one gives way. Being picky I could say it could be a bit thicker but this problem is easily solved by proping it against backpack or on some clothes etc.Overall, great pillow and if weight is not an issue for you I can highly recommend it if, like me, you find inflatable pillows not good enough. I dropped one star because of the weight but I'm keeping mine.

Bought two for wild camping as we needed something lightweight and I do not get on with inflatable ones.These are great, very comfortable and squash down very small in my pack. Also, I prefer these to the U-shaped travel pillows as you can manipulate these into various positions to get the most comfortable head rest or back support.

Having recently had spinal fusion surgery and getting the go ahead to go on holiday I knew I needed something extra nice and supportive for my back. Having bought this I was instantly impressed. It is soft but supportive, rolls nicely into the bag that comes with it, regains it’s shape repeatedly, has a washable cover and it has been my best friend throughout my entire holiday saving me from additional pain! I highly recommend this!

I bought this little bit of magic for my travels in India this Summer. It is the best thing I have ever bought and has saved me from neck ache, shoulder ache and back pain, all of which I usually get from hotel pillows. I used it on the plane and every night in all the different hotels we stayed in. I slept soundly and it packs away very easily. It's small enough to have in a day bag and fits snuggly into it's little travel sack (some people said it was difficult to get back in, but I didn't find this at all). I love it and will never go anywhere without it. It was the perfect height for me as I like a low down pillow. I can't recommend it enough. At last, no dread of hotel pillows ever again!!!!

Prefer this shape rather than the collar variety. I bought this for my recliner chair as ordinary cushions were to thick to be comfortable behind the head, this was just ths right size. Also used during coach trip, it will fold in half both lengthways and across the width. It also comes with a soft case so it can be rolled into smallish size for packing into hand luggage, though I found it just as easy to slot it flat down the side of my hand luggage without taking up a lot of room. Very satisfied with this purchase.

I like this pillow - the memory foam thickness is just right and it springs back to plump up in no time. I was a bit worried when I was removing it from its cover the first time but I didn’t need to.It looked a little misshapen and squashed but it evened out in less than a minute. I thought I’d struggle to get it back in the case but rolling it tightly is not difficult.It’s always going to have a certain amount of bulk but I’d say it’s about the same as a chunky scarf - plus it’s very light weight which is great. As I travel on trains on long journeys regularly it has been a godsend.
