AMAZING!! NO LEAKS!!
I have held off writing a review to make sure it works and it DOES! I ordered this to fix a plastic bowl that I wanted to use for a water feature, the bowl had ore drilled holes and other holes that weren’t east to find, I tried waterproof sealant and sealer tape, plastic bags, nothing worked I was just about to give up when I found this, I thought of it doesn’t work that’s it and buy a different bowl but I tried it and it’s brilliant. It’s very thick and gloopy which may make it a bit hard to spread but it wasn’t too bad, the colour is grey which matched my pot and dries like clay. I put 3 Coates on to make sure each time letting it dry but it didn’t need 3 coats, that was just me being extra cautious after desperately wanting to seal the holes. I don’t know if I mentioned it but the bowl I am using is plastic. I wish I tried this in the first place, I’m going to order another tin as I think it will be so useful to have in the garage. I can’t rate this highly enough, I still have w full bowl of water and no leaks!

Good product that does the job
I needed something like this to seal a crack in a metal drain-pipe. I have seen several solutions offered by companies such as silica bands etc, but none appeared to allow a more permanent fix. Having received the tin - be aware it is smaller than it looks - I have applied two coats to my drainpipe and it appears to have done the trick. As a number of other people have also mentioned, once you brush it on, you can pretty much say goodbye to the brush. The solution is very thick and has a tar-like stickiness. You need to wear protective gloves to avoid getting this stuff on your hands takes ages! Also be aware that the instrctutions on the tin are in German but a leaflet in English is provided.Overall this seems to be doing the job and with the recent rainfall, the drainpipe has not leaked.PROS- Has a strong firm hold and forms a good bond with most materials- Quite thick to apply so forms a good bridge between cracks- Can be applied in rain to wet surfacesCONS- You end of wasting paint-brushes (so perhaps use an old brush)- No instructions in English on the tin- Quite a small tin so would need to purchase a larger tin for a big job** Please click Yes if you found my review helpful in any way **

Since applying the waterproof sealant I couldn't be more satisfied with the result
Tried everything to seal a leak in my gutter but after a short space of time being exposed to the elements the gutter started to leak again. Was about to replace the gutter when I saw this product. I thought I would give it one more go. Since applying the waterproof sealant I couldn't be more satisfied with the result. No more leak. After many days of heavy rain and heavy frost during the winter my gutter is still leak free. Really impressed with this product and would recommend to anyone. The product is grey in colour but can be painted over. Great product and easy to apply.

Difficult to work with an understatement
Used this to repair the seal on a soil-pipe. I found it very difficult to work with but the end result was satisfactory and an effective repair/seal was made.

Good price, goes a long way and is very effective.Used to repair a gutter downpipe that was leaking and went through a concrete gutter.Water was flowing through the old bitumen seal as this had dried and shrunk over time.I used a brush and it went on well, within a couple of hours it was cured. The following day it rained heavy and there were no leaks. It has remained in place for the past couple of months and is an ideal repair until we overhaul our roof next year.Product reminded me of a glass fibre/resin paste, it is unwieldy and will stick to everything!

Easy To Use And Does The Job
Excellent product that has sealed one very leaky connection on my guttering, old meets new would not seal as they were slightly different in size causing a big gap but this does the job and is 100% watertight now... Saved me a load of grief not having to change the rest of the guttering... Not cheap but you pay for what you get...

Saved my leaking gutter, although took two applications
This stuff does the job, but it takes a bit of careful work. I had a leaking gutter pipe, which dripped every few seconds. Because of where the leak was, the sealant had to be applied to the outside of a horizontal pipe, so it wasn't straightforward. The first application didn't manage to fix the leak - the water dripped through the application, leaving a small hole. I dumped a super-absorbent cloth above the leak and applied a second coat: this time it worked brilliantly (either because I did a better job, or because it wasn't actively leaking for a number of minutes, and had time to set).Note that this stuff is thick and goopy, with lots of fibres in it. I applied it with a thin flat offcut of wood about 25mm wide. I'm not sure a brush would have worked, and if it did I doubt I'd ever have managed to get it clean! It does work, though, and solved a difficult problem for me - I'm keeping the tin for my next leak!

Applies like tar, sets like clay; works well!!!
I highly doubt you could use a paintbrush with this stuff, it's like tar with hair in it and it sets like clay; it'll be malleable for a while after applying then sets hard so if it's a struggle to fill a hole bung some on, wait a few hours and then move it around when it's partially set.I used a silicon smoothing tool to slap it on the shed roof from the inside. Much easier to see where the leaks were coming from and run this stuff down the seam!
