EyeBag® Instant. Self Heating Warm Eye Compresses

These eyebags do not give the heat that a proper microwaved eyebag gives but they can be extremely useful. I arrived in Las Vegas with a bad case of dry eye after 24 hours travel and found that the hotel rooms there do not have microwaves - they want you to buy their food from their outlets I suppose. I had bought a pack of these for the flights and found myself relying on them while in Vegas and wished I had brought more. Although as stated they do not heat up to the levels you get with a microwaved eyebag they gave me relief and I kept them on for as long as there was heat in them before massaging my eyes. In most other places the hotel rooms had microwaves although one place I had to sneak my eyebag into the microwave during breakfast so you cannot always rely on there being one so I will now always take a couple of packs of these with me on future trips. They are so easy to use on a plane or as a car passenger etc to get instant relief.

I have been using an eye mask on a daily basis to treat blocked eye lashes duct. This product is just as effective and all you have to do is take it out of package. It heats up quickly and retains heat for 10 mins and more. Great alternative when you aren't able to access your normal routine . Would highly recommend buying.

The eye bags arrived in a box of 8 and so far I have tried one of them. It heated up fairly quickly to a comfortable heat which felt soothing. The only downside is that the elastic designed to go round your ears to hold it in place does not hold it on tight enough. I improvised by blindfolding myself with one of my husband's ties - thank goodness nobody could see me! This was effective but it was a bit of a faff so by the time I had done this, I needed a lie down with the heated eye bag in place. It was nice and warm though. I afterwards read the little leaflet in the box which explained that you should massage your eyes afterwards and explained how to do this. In this case, as I do have sensitive eyes, I would need to make sure I had very clean hands first eg that I hadn't been applying hand cream or moisturiser.

I bought a box to try one out ahead of going on holiday. Really liked them just took a couple of minutes to warm up once in place over my eyes. They worked as well as my eye mask which I have to heat up in the microwave. So pleased I ordered another box.

These are my go to for hotels abroad, and travel generally, as if no kettle you can’t use the gel type ones. Easy to pack, adequate amount of heat, a little loose for me but I hold them gently over my eyes does not prevent them from doing the job. Have just ordered more for my next trip. I have tried the USB type and not impressed, would recommend.

Not sure how it warms up so was not keen on using ASAP close to eyes

Heated up quickly,and fits over your eyes comfortably with an adjustable strap at back. Different heat settings and timings, great for relaxing or medical use like dry eye syndrome comes with a small spray bottle. Value for money as far as I’m concerned.

I did a glowing product review of these before as I had bought them previously and found them to be really good. However, since then I have bought two more packs on separate occasions and am disappointed to report that they did not work. They did not heat up properly. I can only assume that there must have been a fault with them. As I am reliant on this type of product to treat my MGD/dry eyes, this was really disappointing, and I have not bought them since then.
