These T-Power adaptors appear to function as good as the (overpriced) Dyson originals. They may not have the same fancy design, but when you consider the much lower price they are a bit of a bargain! Unlike some aftermarket chargers they do have an LED to indicate power.The added bonus is that these are currently considerably cheaper here at Amazon than some well known auction sites, even with Prime delivery!PLEASE NOTE: The power light on these chargers is just a light indicating that the power is on. This DOES NOT indicate that the battery is charging unlike the original and most other aftermarket units. You will need to leave the vac on charge for at least 3 hours (depending on battery capacity) to achieve a full recharge.

Good price, still working half a year on ... and best of all this unit is smaller (flatter) than the original Dyson one so, for us, it means it can be hidden behind a folding chair against the wall.My personal view on Dyson products is that they work very well, but are overly fragile in build. They are put together with replaceable, but highly expensive, modules or components -- something I believe is an intentional part of their business model. As a result, companies like T-Power and other providers of replacement parts at MUCH cheaper prices, make Dyson products viable for me. I wouldn't buy Dyson otherwise.

The battery charging cable for the Dyson DC range of handheld vacuum cleaners seem to fail on a regular basis, I suspect due to it's inherent design. We have 2 devices and regularly buy spares to keep them going. The battery charger connection to the device always seems to be the weakest link.

Much cheaper than dyson and it works

First my battery broke on my dyson then the power cable. Figured it was worth investing in new cable and how it works great again, you can open Dyson cables for see but pretty sure the lead has broken. This replacement is much sturdier. Even had a light!

The only thing I do not like is the light seems to stay on,not sure if it goes off when the battery is charged.

Great item. Much better value than a branded one and works perfectly. Very pleased.

Very good fit and charges battery fast the only downside is the light doesn’t switch off when battery’s fully charged
