Great basket and very sturdy! The only downside is that the screws are too short, so I had to improvise and find some others at home, which wasn’t easy 😆 Apart from that, it fits really well and I’m very happy with it!

Well made and well thought out. Extremely light and will probably bend rather easily but I've not forced too much into it yet. Plastic coating should deliver a long life (except I have managed to damage it a bit ... what hard, sharp item did I put in there?!). Comes with inconvenient bolt-on clamps but most people will use cable-ties (gentler on the plastic coating of the basket and the paint on the rack). I've gone one better and used cable-ties to hold it to a board, creating a clip-on/clip-off fitting. Go-ahead manufacturers could do a lot more and provide this feature as standard. A basket is more convenient than panniers, especially if you bring the cycle indoors (panniers get damaged even if I'm careful). Content security is a worry - never put a handbag in this basket unless you've looped the handle over the seat - or clipped it to the underside of the seat with a carabinier. However, carrying capacity is good, and here's a tip. Put a row of bottles vertically down the middle of the basket - then hang shopping bags on each side! You can easily carry as much as you'd have done with panniers! The advertising tab at the back is perfect for clipping on a rear-light - a feature you may not need - but could be useful.

Use this on the back of my commute bicycle in case I need to carry more than my rucksack allows. Its a good size which means it holds plenty but does mean its harder to get my leg over - general problem as you get older! Its reasonably sturdy so provides decent protection for the contents. Did find it a bit tricky/fiddly to fit - it did come with fittings but no bolts came with it so had to source my own. I use it with a small cargo net to ensure that everything stays in place and it works just fine.

Sturdy and roomy

This is an excellent, good-for-value product. It is sturdy but not heavy. It was very easy to fit to the rear pannier on my folding e-bike. All the fittings were included and the bolts provided were plenty long enough (perhaps the manufacturers have responded to previous buyers' comments!). It is big enough to hold one or two bags of shopping but not too huge to look unsightly. Probably it is worthwhile buying a cargo-net or some bungees to keep your shopping secured on the way home - especially if you have speed-humps to ride over, as I do. As other buyers have done, I have attached a rear light/reflector (see my other reviews) to the back end of the basket as it would obscure the light in its original position (you may need a backplate to do this - luckily I had a spare). Overall, a great product worthy of five stars.

Took some time and ingenuity to fit, but it should be possible to secure this to most / any rear carriers with the supplied brackets. At worst, you might want to drill an extra hole or two - but I didn't need to for either bicycle. I liked this so much that firstly I bought another for my second bike, and secondly, since I got this, I have never needed to use my shopping trailer. I cannot say how long it will last yet. I was able to use the mounting bracket on the back to fit a second rear light, which is useful. This basket also provides a handy structure to lace reflective tape around to improve your bike's visibility.

The product is exactly as advertised, however my stuff bounces out of the basket every time I go over a bump or hole. It is NOT SAFE in my opinion since it's such a distraction to yourself and road users having a basket full of items falling onto the road.
