Dimensions7208 Dragonfly Pair, Multi-Colour

Previously did the Hummingbird Drama and love the finer gauge of these tapestries as you get so much detail. This one is very tricky as other reviewers have said the colours are barely visible on the canvas and you need good eyesight and natural light to do this. If you fancy a challenge it does come out nicely. All of these tapestries show outlining in white thread which I don’t find necessary, so I leave it out. The iridescent thread is a lovely touch but yes, it’s hard to work with. I would have given this more stars but..... There wasn’t enough thread in two colours and I NEVER run out! I had to make do with a different colour for one bit but as one of the colours was on the wings I had to cobble a length of thread from two other shades. Luckily it doesn’t look too obvious. I will definitely do another of these but if you want to try tapestry for the first time, try an Anchor with 10 stitches to the inch.

I haven’t started this yet. It looks good, had ample thread all in gorgeous colours. The kit arrived on time so all in all very happy. 4 stars only because I haven’t stitched it yet.

So disappointed to find the 'printed' canvas is barely visible! Although I am not a beginner I will find it very difficult to decide which colour goes where! In fact I may not even try!Don't waste your money.

A really lovely kit,.everything was exactly as described (and very clearly illustrated) which will, when finished, make a lovely present for a very sweet little girl. Cannot saw how good it is looking as the stiches go in.

Item arrived on estimated due date. Little disappointed with the colour of the threads,rather dull.

Exactly was I was looking for as an introduction to needlepoint. Only wish there was a little more explanation about the backstitch around the outline of the wings.

Product makes up nicely if you stitch with 6 strands of floss
