Great quality for the price
A good quality tool for a very reasonable price. I've used quite a bit since buying it and been perfect. I've not had to sharpen it yet so it will be interesting to see how long the edge lasts.

Good for the price
I needed a parting tool and I was not about to splash out on an expensive one for the little use it will get. This was half the price of other similar tools. Surprisingly it’s quite nice. The quality is fine for what I need, it’s a good size, was clean and with no oil build up, chips or dents. It came semi sharp but a couple of mins on the stones it was great. Holds an edge fairly well. For the money I don’t think you can go to wrong.

Great tool at a very good price
Nice parting tool, as I have said in my other Faithful chisel reveiw these are great chisels at a great price at under £14.The handles are solid and tool feels nice to handle. I have since ordered more in this range. I would recommend this rather than splashing out lots of money on more expensive brands.

You can't go wrong at this price!
I have to say I was really surpised at the quality of this tool especially when you factor in the extraordinary price. No it isn't of the same bombproof quality of a Robert Sorby chisel, but it sharp works well and has a great feel when using it. Only time will test it's durability but I'd urge everyone to buy one of these you'll be amazed at what you get for you money, especially when you compare to some other more expensive brands.

HSS tool at reasonable cost
Often stunned at the asking price for HSS woodturing tools Faithfull are closer to what I want to pay. This parting tool's measurements were as advertised. As with most tools it will need sharpening before use. Bright white sparks came off the grind (indicating a good quality HSS) and after a quick hone, it cut well into both soft and hard woods. The edge holds well and only needs a light honing on a diamond lap to restore.For practicalities and price great but one star deducted due to manufacturing quality and feel .Yes, I will buy other Faithfull tools.
