Save me a lot of time. Great tools!
I often have needs to lower bridge bone saddle. This bridge saddle and nut sander indeed saves me lots of time. It helps me to sand precisely and get the bottom saddle straight. For piezo, it helps give all the strings even pressure on the transducer bar thus even volume. Very happy for the purchase.

A broken used product
The product arrived in pieces and inside of return bag. The tool had been broken and obviously returned. It possibly could have worked but who knows.Update: received a new tool. The supports that hold together the clamp are just pressurefit into one end and will not keep the tool together to hold a saddle. Don't waste your money on this junk.

It works, but not well made and needs more setup than the guitar.
I was able to make it work after prying the jaw off the crooked mounted studs. I had ton use a wedge to open the jaw wide enough to insert a saddle. Don't know yet if I can safely force the jaw wide enough to insert a nut. One stud is (almost) square to the jaw, but the other is out by at least ten degrees. A previous review says the mounting studs are silicone in place. That fact may account (along with uncertain hole spacing) for the canted stud. Design flaw or bad QC? Value received isn't great, but with lots of patience and help it now functions acceptably. Bottom line is this item is OK for the amateur guitar owner, but if you are a professional player or tech go with StewMac at the higher price.

It actually works…
I use it almost daily for work. To be as inexpensive as it is, it’s simple and it works great. It can also be used as a depth stop vice if you don’t like rolling it over sandpaper.

Didn’t last more than one use
This tool held together for one use before one of the two clamping studs pulled out.The studs are press fit with glue added it appears.I wouldn’t recommend buying this.
