ok although doesn't do much
There are a few caveats with this device.First thing I noticed is that the frequency response of the microphone changed in a number of ways .I use microphone postprocessing pipeline. First, the whole response spectrum shifted. In my dynamic microphone especially, i had to shift high pass filters and eq in low frequencies (0..300 Hz) to reduce by about 3-5 db, otherwise the whole thing starts sounding "muffled". I suppose the effect is less pronounced if used with condenser microphone and perhaps even welcome, as condensers are much more shifted to higher frequences response. I also had to the mic as much forward as i can (i use maono dynamic mic). And i also removed the mic's own foam filter, seems excessive with this setup. With all these measures, the mic seems to have returned more or less to its previous profile. The other thing i noticed is that the noises went down. The dynamic mic is not eager to pick up high frequency noises in the first place, but with this thing it went down to a degree that i had to remove noise subtracting filter entirely, it was not picking any noise at -90db anyway to meaningfully calibrate the subtraction and was doing more harm than good.Secondly, the expander knee could be adjusted to a lower threshold than it was, since there are fewer noises, and the knee cut-off started to sound a little too harsh, more like a noise gate, which I hate. And third, I adjusted rnnoise's thresholds (noise cancelling NN filter) even more conservatively, in fact, it seems there's no point in having rnnoise filter at all with these noise levels. But these are all welcome adjustments, of course.Bottom line, expect to adjust EQ and noise cancelling techniques, especially with the dynamic mic types. If you don't use postprocessing at all, while this foam may isolate some noises, it may also change the response of a dynamic mic away from manufacturer's profile in a less than pleasing way. I feel like if you already have a good situation by default with a dynamic microphone and no postprocessing, it may not be worth it to add postprocessing just to get it back to the desired frequency response. If you already have EQ postprocessing, or if it is easy to set up (e.g. in OBS or Equalizer APO), this may produce some quite modest improvement with reflections and noises.

WONT FIT SHURE SM7b
Doesn’t get the sound isolation it all! And shure sm7b won’t fit

Sounds bad
It made my mic sound muffled
