At first I hated it. I wan't getting the angel I wanted, and it kept drooping down and it is really frustrating trying to readjust it while driving and also trying to follow google maps directions. In the process of adjusting the car mount I would always have to press on my screen as well, which would mean I would have to re-adjust my google maps gps view as well. Extremely frustrating experience. Wanted to throw it out the window. But I parked the car on the side of the road, took my time adjusting the mount exactly like I wanted it, tightened the screw at the back, and voila, it was perfect. No dropping, and no fear of the phone dropping off if I press the brakes a little too hard. Strong, sturdy, and secure, just what I wanted out of it. It's been over a week since I've been using this and have no complaints at all. Would recommend everyone just take their time with adjusting it to their preference and then start using it.

Fitted this to an air vent in my Mazda 3 to hold my iPhone 6S Plus. It's ok but pulls the air vent all the way down. Not as good as I'd hoped but it works.UPDATE: Following my review above I was contacted by the seller who remedied the situation by sending me a replacement dash-mounting holder. Excellent customer service and the replacement is fine. Upgrading rating from 3 to 5 stars.

Very pleased - this cradle can hold my iPhone 7 IN ITS FLIP COVER! It’s a bit near the edge with the cover open - you couldn’t have a whole wadge of things in the cover, but it is held securely with the cover open and flipped back, and even better with it closed but easily openable.It slots into the air vent which then becomes virtually undirectable. Initially thought it was difficult - too tight to push in - but a 90 degree turn and it slipped on easily but securely.Easy access button on back to release arms which spring open In strangely satisfying soft release. Ratchet squeeze to tighten hold on phone.Not sure about durability yet only got it yesterday but feels well made from good materials v

I purchased this for my partner and she loves it. I am always a little dubious buying things online until I actually have them in my hand...I wasn't disappointed. It's made well and looks as if it will last a long time. I like the way the sides open with a touch of a button, the way it leaves free access to the charging slot and the headphone socket. I also like the way the vent prongs can be swivelled to fit either wide or narrow vent bars. Arrived faster than I thought it would and comes in a nice white box with all the instructions printed on it instead of the usual impossible to open hard vacuum wrapped plastic.

I’ve gone through my fair share of phone car mounts for as long as I can remember. None comes close to this one. One of biggest problems with car mounts is the ease of mounting or removing the phone. This makes it effortless with the press of a button. It’s a very well thought out piece of kit that every car should have. Quite pleased with the purchase.

Works best if you have a more solid air vent. On the astra H vent doesn't sit perfect - the phone (s8) tilts a bit and is kind of wobbly. Good alternative to windscreen fitted ones.Still looking for a better one though.

Works great with my Oneplus 3T. Also the clip for the air vent is rubberised so it won't scratch any of the vent flaps. Much better alternative than the windows suction version which started falling off the minute I removed it to attach to another vehicle.

I bought this after getting my new iPhone 8 Plus. The addition of wireless charging meant my previous magnetic mount was no longer suitable, much to my sadness, meaning I had to go back to a more traditional cradle style holder.This one did what I needed well. It fits okay on my air vents, and doesn't rattle excessively. The materials feel like they are decent quality, although the metal inside on one of the air vent grips has torn through the rubber - still works, but slightly annoying. Rubber on the part that actually grips the phone stops it from sliding out very well and adjusts easily to the right tightness.A few minor niggles: the release mechanism is quite slow, I have to hold the button for a few seconds before it gets loose enough to release my phone. Some tighter corners or bumps in the road have occasionally knocked the holder out of the vent, but generally once I find a good position for the mount, it holds far more reliably.All in all, this mount represents great value; it isn't without its flaws, but I can definitely recommend it as a good cheap all rounder for any phone. Just be mindful that you get what you pay for!
